I met with the financial counselor last week. My insurance requires me to do 6 months on a medically supervised weightloss program, I was kind of bummed but now not so much because I have 6 months to save for my out of pocket.

I went for the first time on Nov 8- I also was told my insurance makes me wait 6 months. I was so sad- But I am now 3 months in- have had more time to really wrap my head around this and there are a ton of doctors to see! I am hoping I get my surgery in early May (my mothers day gift to me!! . I live in NY and I will be able to easily walk outside as opposed to getting sleeved in January!
