Inspiring. Great job bro.

Sounds like a jealous punk. No offense.

I had gastric sleeve preformed dr. Cabbrera exactly 2 weeks ago via MBC. Great doctor and overall satisfied with experience. If anyone has specific questions let me know.

For me it was waiting to drink before and after I ate. Otherwise diarrhea.

It's driving me crazy getting constant emails too. I have unsubscribed many times and still keep getting them.

Had mine 48 hours ago. The build up to the operation is stressful but after its done will be the real work. Try to picture the end results and not the actual operation. You will be fine.

I was 350 July last year PRE-OP.
I'm now 196-199 give or take.
I'm a 6'1" 40 year old male.
My original "GW" was 250 (it was a number I wanted to see again)
My next "GW" was 220 (a number I weighed when entering Freshman year of High School)
My next "GW" was to drop below 200 (accomplished and holding below currently)
Now I say all this because a "GW" can be a moving target if you ask me. I've hit 3 of my personal goal markers and when my surgeon and his staff ask me where I'd like to be I respond quite honestly with, "on a beach."
I'm happy with where I'm at.
BMI can use some work I suppose and I'll probably settle in around 170-185 in the end with summer coming around and thus the ability to get out and walk daily.
Don't sweat the numbers.
Sweat the Protein and the Water - count those numbers!
Don't eat sugar don't eat bread and enriched flour products.
And yup - too early to be worrying about it :-)
Good for you man. My numbers are just like yours. I hope I can achieve onderland too.

@@Tdot77guy I would for sure be up for meetings. That's something I have been interested in. Either bi weekly or monthly something like that. I wonder how much interest there would be in this area. I start my 3 week Optifast liquid diet tomorrow bright and early then surgery on April 4. I'm very excited and very nervous it has been a long road that started almost 3 years ago so knowing it's so close is crazy
The process is long with ohip. Good luck with the pre op diet.
I'm down for meetings. Please include me too.

Wow that's very exciting! Good luck! I'm in Newmarket so quite close by MarkhamI'm in Tijuana right now. Was supposed to go with bypass but doctors are recommended the sleeve. I'm from Markham. My operation will happen tomorrow morning at 8 am. So for this experience has exceeded my expectations.
Feeling anxious and excited at the same time. I'm in Newmarket all the time for processing work at the court house.
I'll be back home on the 20th. If anyone wants to set up meetings or anything like that I'm in. If not any forum of local support would be helpful to all.

My two week pre op diet starts in 2 days. I know I should not be admitting this but I have been eating some of the foods that got me to my current condition. But I am not enjoying them. I wish I did not have to do this surgery. But I know if I want to be around for my kid then I have no other viable option.

I am scheduled for a mini gastric bypass on March 12 2016 in Mexico. I am 6'2 330 and my mind is constantly telling me that I don't need this surgery and I can handle this own my own. Maybe if I could continue dieting.
I am a single dad trying to do this for my 8 year old daughter. I know I need to this.
Appreciate your insights and anything else you have to offer.
