  1. Good to hear cuz I can't imagine going longer then 6 weeks without coloring my hair!
  2. Thank you everyone, it looks like the 4-5 month is when it happens, at least I know now and can somewhat prepare myself
  3. I've been reading a lot of posts on hair loss. It has me very nervous . I am 5 weeks post op and haven't experienced any hair loss. I am getting my grays colored tomorrow. My question is, has everyone experienced hair loss? And if yes, when did it start and when did you start to see re growth ?

  5. I told my 3 daughters, boyfriend, and 3 best friends. After surgery I told one of my sisters and couple of other close friends . None of my co- workers, they are very opinionated about diet and weight loss so I told them I had a hernia which I did and have gone on a high protein low carb diet.
  6. It took me 3 hours to finish a shake in the beginning then an hour and a half. I'm 5 weeks post op now and I can drink my shakes and eat a meal within 30 minutes. Hang in there
  7. Workout at least 3 times a week cardio. I'm 5 weeks post op, waiting to get cleared to start weights
  8. Sleeved 11/30. Still on puréed foods next dr appt is this Friday then I go to diced foods. Hardest challenge is getting in my 64oz of water. I can get 48oz if I'm lucky. Other then that I feel pretty good and really excited on how my clothes are fitting
  9. I asked if I had to take anything else, she said no. My next blood work will tell if anything extra is needed. The calcium comes in a patch too.
  10. Patchmd.com .. A life saver for me. $20 a month. I started with 3 different vitamins that were chewable, the taste made me gag. My nutritionist told me about the patch, change it once a day on the back of my shoulder. Yay

  12. I'm in! 29 days post opp. I've been walking but ready to get back to the gym . My goal is at least one hour 3 times a week. CW 227 GW 205
  13. 2 weeks for me but like babbs said everyday gets better

  15. I called my doctor a week after surgery cuz I couldn't take the aftertaste of the protein shakes. He said do not swallow it and the chewing can cause gas but everyone's different . Ive been chewing ever since and have had no problems
  16. I felt the same way . Started feeling normal after 2 weeks and started taking vitamins
  17. 30 days post . I'm still doing 2 shakes a day. Yogurt for snack and chicken or fish for dinner . Next week I start diced foods
