  4. Hi, Sorry to hear that you're having such discomfort. I had a Roux N Y Bypass. My Surgeon did it through Laparoscopy 2 years ago & I had no pain what so ever! I had the BEST Dr. Call your surgeon, there is no need for you to be suffering! Good Luck!
  5. Thank You!! I'll definitely check it out!
  6. Thank you for the positive feedback on this. I couldn't quite make up my mind about the air fryer, but I have now. There are several out there, May I ask which one you purchased? Thank You!!

  8. Hi, I am 2 years out RNY. Right after surgery I kept weighing myself and obsessing. A couple of weeks after, when I had settled down I was in front of the mirror and it hit me 40lbs. was just gone! It was amazing! I have gained & lost a few lbs here & there and you will hit stalls but they don't last forever. I'm not sorry I did this & I had a fantastic Dr. Good Luck with your program. Just drink your water, get your protein in & exercise and you'll be ok!
  9. Hi, I take the injections. I's easier and faster. Just a heads up, if anyone suggests using the B12 Nasal Gel, DON"T, it's like shoving a gob of Jello up your nose!

  11. Oh I struggled with that too. Just walk and GasX, but once the problem started relieving itself (if you know what I mean!), Well I was getting dirty looks from the cat!!! Oh but it felt so good! Good Luck to you!
  12. Yes, it's uncomfortable, but it does ease up. My problem was constant vomiting for 3 months. Dr. finally did Endo & loosened the pouch a bit and have had no problems since.

  14. Hi snapy17, Please Please don't get discouraged. A few months after my RNY I started losing hair. Now my hair was long & thick so I didn't think it would happen to me...surprise surprise! It lasted for about 6 months & then stopped. Please try & keep a sense of humor. I used to joke that my house, washer & dryer looked like a dog grooming station! Hang in there & congrats on losing pounds, you'll be ok!
  15. Hi, yes I went through this. It is normal, mine lasted about 6 months. Not fun when you're going through it, but it will stop. Hang in there! Good Luck!
  16. Hi, no don't think so. If you didn't get sick I wouldn't worry about it. There is a protein drink called Isopure, it comes in a lot of different flavors. No sugar, 40g protein, 20oz bottle, it's really good, no after taste. Blue Raspberry is my favorite. I was about 4 weeks out when I had a craving for a Clementine, so I ate about 3/4 of a small one and OMG I thought I was going to die for hours! So that's what you call a mistake....don't do that! Lol Good Luck
  17. Hi, I had 6 pills to take daily after surgery. 3 tablets & 3 capsules. The surgeon told me to stagger them through the day. Just be aware that when you take them at first with liquid it's going to hurt, but that will go away. Good Luck!
  18. Hi my Dr. did an Endoscopy three months after RNY because of constant vomiting. He loosened the pouch a little and problem solved!
  19. I drink it, love the one with pineapple!
  20. Hi, I threw up for 3 months after my RNY 7 my surgeon went in and loosened the pouch and that solved my problem.
