The doctor stated it was normal at three months. Your body has gone is going through a lot of changes so being tired is normal

I am three months post op. I have been so tired lately. Is this normal? Or just due to summer heat
-
I had a good experience with Doctor Lord but I started the process with him.

I just thought if anyone had thoughts or suggestion on meal planing and living alone. I am starting to conclude I should get carry out and just it on it for few days? How does others deal with their daily meals?

I weigh on the 1st and 16th of the month and this all allow myself. If I did not put those restrictions on myself, I could drive myself crazy.
When the doctor asked for a goal weight I gave a 40 pound weight range and if people ask I say I don't have a definite final goal. My goal is basically where if I choose healthy food and reasonable portion size and exercise at least 180 minutes per week and maybe an occasion treat like (once a month) whatever weight that is will be the weight I will be. I will not commit to exercising 2 plus hours a day and drinking Protein shakes for 2 meals every day in order to weigh less. It is not that I am not committed to weight loss but I am more committed to my sanity.

I don't have answers because I have only gone down one size. The disadvantage of being large. I think I am close passing to another size soon. I am thinking about once get to the next size 20W. I will get rid of all the 24W. Getting rid of some clothes makes me sad. .
The bra question should be interesting. If I lose much more in the chest I will have no choice in the matter and when it comes to working out a good supporting bra can make a big difference.

I have much more to loose then you an I feel like mine has slowed down too. Im 4 weeks post op an have lost 52lbs since pre-op. Which looking at the number seems great but I just can't see a difference an now I've slowed down to a crawl. Looking at what I got to loose seems so far away. Guess I just gotta keep pushing forward.

I understand what you are going through. I feel like I am not losing any faster since surgery than I did when I was on the pre-op diet. The good part is I am still losing and I am not having to rely completely on my own self control. I try to get smart but it is nice be satisfied on smaller portions. If you don't have body composition scales, I would highly recommend them. I have only lost 21 pds in 2 months but 35 pds of that has been fat lost so that number makes me feel better. . My Water weight keeps going up and I don't understand why.

I normally three causes of Migraines being dehydrated. Hormone imbalance or sinus pressure. I have only had minor headaches since surgery. If you had migraines and plain headache is minor

i am not proposing that i have answer because I am only over 6 weeks out...For the year I have lost 50 pounds. I was looking to set a goal for the rest of the year. I was looking at realistic goal of 30 pds. This is only 5 pounds a month. I am looking for a stretch goal of 40 and addition stretch of 50. As far as setting a monthly goal, I think it may be good to give you something to strive for but just be careful not to beat yourself up over it. I am a firm believer in SMART goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely). I think 20 pounds in a month may be a little ambitious but I am losing quite slow.

I had that issue with dairy based Protein Shake along with a few other nasty systems... I was using lactate for a while. ... It can help you get through those dairy based shakes
-
I have the same issue... I have lived off sugar free Popsicles..... It something about them that quenches my thirst that drinking does not

If I don't take the time I end up with gas

I also have the body analysis scale which according to those I as of 6/16... I have lost 18 pounds of fat, 3 pounds of muscle. I gave gained Water.
diet - 1 week liquid
3 weeks on soft foods like eggs, cottage cheese, sliced turkey & cheese, cream cheese, Beans, grilled fish & can tuna. There were the Protein shakes

I have had no serious issues. some mild Constipation, some depression early on. that's it. I haven't had trouble eating or drinking or exercising. weight is coming off slow and steady.
I am actually happy to see your progress....I started out about the same weight at you for my surgery weight. I happy to see you are already under 200 pounds. I am hoping to reach that milestone by the end of the year.
How much do you exercise? Do you track what you eat?

I have not had complication either so seeing other people struggle makes me not want to put out here. Oh I am doing great, my only struggle so far is still being on what my doctor refers to soft food stage and wanting to move on and I have another three weeks but I am following doctors orders which maybe why I am doing well
Starting Thursday - I do get to add chicken, crackers and corn tortilla's. I never thought I would be excited about being able to eat chicken.< /p>
I am trying to only weigh the 16th an 1st of the month. I know if I am not careful, I can become obsessive and be disappointed easily in the scales. I am hoping I will see progress.

Be sure to have budget an stay within. It could be easy to switch from extra baggage on the body to extra baggage on a credit card because shopping can be fun....and much more so if able to shop in regular sizes. :'(

For those of you who have gone to goo will to buy transition clothes. Do you think there is a better day of the week to go? I am thinking it might be Wednesday as people drop stuff off over the weekend and that would leave Monday and Tues to sort and get stuff off.
I find it odd. It looks like I kept dressy type clothes for a couple of sizes going down but missing some in casual like caprices.

My first post surgery checkup was yesterday. I was down 14 pounds right on target. I am trying to only weigh every 2 weeks. I am still amazed how different doctors prescribe different diets post op.
-
The thing that always provides best success for me is tracking. In the end it is a math formula.

I will be 2 weeks post surgery this Thursday. I have some friends in town and we decided to get together to go bowling. I am wondering if it is too early to bowl.
