Hurray that must be a fabulous milestone to hit. I was happy to get to 30 but I am still pre surgery
  3. I feel lucky ... I am only required to do the liquid diet for 4 days at the most. I will know more next week.
  4. My surgery is on Thursday so I was going to take off the next week. I have plenty of time available to take but I would rather take time for something fun.
  5. I could use a buddy but my surgery is not until 19th... Curiosity question how long are you taking off work? I work from home so I think 3 weeks is a little excessive.
  6. @FanFamale just wanted to wish you well tomorrow. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
  7. I get to join the club May 19th just found out today.
  8. I found out today that I was approved now waiting on the doctors office to schedule preーop.... And then surgery, I thought I would feel different.... I am glad to know and moving forward but I think there is some underlying anxiety that I will just have to contend.
  9. Congrats... I just found out I was approved today... I just need to schedule pre- op and surgery I may should know tomorrow. Our dates should be close.

    Syntrax Nectar Protein

Another good thing to do with these is mix them with cottage cheese or yogurt....it helps to keep the carbs and protein in balance and makes them less boring

  14. I guess we are all on the same flight waiting for the runway to clear......I at least know I should plan to call the insurance company if I don't hear anything. I am glad to see I am not alone

    Submitting to Insurance!

I completely understand the feeling... I completed my last weightloss visit on 4/12... I called the doctors office on 4/20 to verify they have everything they need. I am not sure what day it was submitted but we are now in a holding pattern.... Hopefully by the end of next week I will know something
  16. I am hoping for by the end of May but in holding for insurance

You look beautiful in both but you can see the built confidence in post
  19. Does any one have a medical savings account through work,.. And can you get reimbursed for vitamins through it since they would be considered medical required?
  20. adrinanna

    Medical Savings accounts and supplements

I ultimately pay but the tax deductions would be nice
  21. I had done really well on the pre-op diet.. i had lost 25 pounds in the first 10 weeks so I was starting to think I could do it on my own. The last 2 weeks ....I have lost nothing. I was reminded as to why I need weight loss surgery. I am not sure what I have done wrong in the past two weeks as to why I am not losing but I am starting to lose heart and want to give up trying. Lucky for me my three month trial is over on Tuesday so I just need to make sure I don't gain wait between Tuesday and surgery day. If I was closer to the 40 BMI then to 50 I might would consider to keep trying but I have so far to go and getting close to that menopause age which makes women gain weight. I need to action now.

    Waiving the 6 month requirement?

I am ending the near of my three month supervised weight management next week. I just finished the other requirements 2 weeks ago... I have been happy for the time to have the mental preparation and to understand the reality of the weight loss surgery. Additionally, I lost weight which will reduce my risk and due to exercise it should help my recovery.... Look at the time as a positive opportunity not a negative restriction. Use it to practice getting water, eating slower and eating without drinking. My BMI was 51 when I started... I am now between 46 to 47 BMI

    APPROVED

    When is your surgery date?
  24. adrinanna

    APPROVED

Congrats.... hope things go that smoothly for me. I guess I will know in 3 to 4 weeks.... wow that seems strange to say.
  25. This week I am on an annually business trip. This trip normally messes up my rhythm on diet and exercise. It is a week of eating out, drinking and food on the company dime. I am currently in the supervise weight loss phase which I have lost between 15 to 20 pounds so far. I don't want this trip to derail me. Today I did ok but I fly in today and survived airport travel. I have another 84 hours before I am back home. Hopefully able to get my grove back quickly.
