My surgery was 12/28 also. I hope everything gets better for you soon. Call your surgeon if it doesn't get better by the end of the week.

Before you leave consult your surgeon for options. I was allowed Popsicles and other items.

I hope it gets better for you. Also try the boullion cubes.

7 days post op and I'm feeling good. My Vitamins are a must, I'm taking in liquids ok and trying mushy. ????

I had Dr. Tuggle for my surgeon in 12/28. So far the acid reflux is the only bug issue. I'll be happy to be someones buddy I need the support also.

I was also sleeved on 12/28. I had gas pain, no drains, and some sharp pains when eat Popsicles etc. other than that I feel good. My procedure was outpatient so I've been home since 6p Monday. I think everyone's experience is unique to that person. As for the weighing I have weighed myself also. I think we should wait until at least week 3, swelling should be down etc. I hope this helps!

@ MillieBug I had my surgery on 12/28 also. I have the gas pain you mentioned. One of the ways I get relief is walking. Walking really helps the pressure.

My surgery is tomorrow 12/28. I've been on liquids since yesterday. It isn't as hard as I thought it would be. I'm anxious so I'm reading a lot of anything I can get my hands on.

My straw....basically I'm sick and tired of being tired, overweight, and miserable. My journey starts on 12/28/15. I'm scared, nervous, and excited!! Luckily I have a big support system especially my husband. Hopefully I'll be able to inspire someone else.
