Taking care of myself sometimes ahead of other people for the first time in my life.
Stressing myself out over other people's actions (or lack of) only helps contribute to my stress eating (which I am getting better at not doing; old habits die slowly).
I am not talking about being self-centered or a narcissist, but I don't always have to be the one who's efforts goes well above and beyond when others are doing what is most convenient for them, don't want to inconvenience themselves, don't put in their fair effort share, or their lack of planning.
This is me to a T too.

I have an 18mo old and a 3 1/2 yr old. The 3 yr old knows that I'll be going to the dr for a few nights and daddy will be doing bath and bed time. I told her I was going to come back home and that I woukd be ok.

I had to do the same test. It wasn't terrible, some of the questions were really funny.I looked up what the tests are that they had me take. Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory–2 and the Millon Behavioral Medicine Diagnostic test. And answers filled out on one of those scantron sheets from school days.
Every office does their own thing. I know a lady who took only an online questionnaire and that was enough to satisfy the insurance and surgeon's office.
I would have preferred to do just the last 20 minutes face to face!

It all depends on your BMI, your dr and your insurance. My friend didn't have to do any of the pre reqs because her BMI was over 50, but under 55.
