  1. I had mine removed in May and only a sore throat for a few days! Everything else went back to normal! I didn't have to take anymore meds for heartburn, bloating or anything!!! After two days my appetite came back to normal so be careful as you can easily slip back into old habits! Since removal in May I had lost 50lbs and gained back 10 lbs and lost 5 again! My doctor gave be phentermine to use for now so I can try to stay on track!

  2. I'm 4 months out and still losing! 42 lbs down! I still feel restricted and bloated all the time! I also still have bad acid reflux and occasional vomiting! Can't wait to get this out in six weeks but hoping to lose 20 more pounds before that! Everyone's experience is so different!

  3. Hi, try to hang in there! I've had my Ballon for 3 1/2 months and I was feeling the same as you for about 2 months! Nexium did nothing for me so I switched to Zantac twice a day and that helps some! I was on all the nausea pills vomoting every other day and it finally went away last month! I take tums in between a chewing gum helps me with the acid after meals! I can't wait until May to get it out but I'm trying to make the best of it now! I've lost 37 lbs!

  4. Hey @@candykerr7 How much are you eating at a time? What does your diet consist of? I don't eat rice at all! It made me sick so I just don't bother. I eat very little bread maybe 1 slice every other day! I mostly eat Protein, chicken, steak, deli meat and tuna. I do eat plain chips sometimes! I started making smoothies to get fruit and veggies in and I add flax seed to it because I had a bad case of Constipation for the first 2 months!

  5. Today was my 3 month check up visit and I'm down 35 lbs!!! My goal is to lose 35 more by May! It was rough the first 2 months but getting better now! I still have some nausea and vomiting but moving throughout the day really helps! I stopped eating lettuce/spinach salads because it sticks to the ballon and that was one thing that was making feel bad! I guess the bloating is not going away until this thing comes out! 3 down 3 to go! I can do it!

  6. I've had my Ballon for 3 months now and just went back to the gym about 3 weeks ago! I felt the same way as you for the first 2 months! I was advised by the nutritionist to just lift weights in the beginning and don't worry about cardio too much. Since I've been back at the gym I've been able to take classes but I do feel nauseous some times. I find that chewing gum helps me get through my workouts!

  7. Question for the ladies in this group! Do you have trouble with wearing a bra since the Ballon placement? I can't stand wearing any type right now! I feel so bloated all the time so it hurts to wear anything semi tight and around my stomach area too!! Maybe it's just me!

  8. Hi, I've had my Ballon for 2 months now! went to the nutritionist yesterday and I'm down 26 lbs! I only lost 3.5 this last month! That's from eating bad over the holidays! I feel better overall but not 100% like myself! I still feel nauseous everyday and have to take Phenergan! The vomiting is better maybe only once a week now! I'm doing strength training at home but I will start back at the gym this weekend!

  9. I had the Orbera balloon placed on November 11, 2015. So far I have lost 22 lbs. The first two weeks was really bad for me. I felt I was stuffed all the time, severe nausea/vomitting and acid reflux really bad!!! My nutritionist said the cause of vomitting could be that I'm eating carbs. I was eating crackers, bread, brown rice. She suggested low carbs and I haven't felt bad this week since I stopped eating carbs. So now my diet consist of Protein, Protein and more protein!
