Personally, I do not like them at all. What I've been doing in place of pasta is spiraled zucchini. If you bake it in the oven with whatever sauce you use and a little cheese it tastes great. Even got my dad to eat it!

I have had all my appointments except for the follow up with my surgeon and my psych eval!! I am currently away at college so I am waiting till May to have my surgery. The hardest part is waiting for it to come! To anyone who had to have a psych eval what do they ask you? Also, I am on a liver reduction diet that requires multiple protein shakes a day. Does anyone have any favorite recipes that I can try!

Hey everyone! So I have started my diet which consists of 2-3 protein shakes a day. What brands of powder do you all suggest? My surgeons office recommends the brand that they sell at the office (bariatric fusion), but if I could buy it at the grocery store it would be much cheaper. Thanks!

Geez these people don't deserve the time of day with how they treat you. I am currently pre-op and when the few family members that I told found out about it they would say stuff like "Are you sure you'll be able to keep it off?" Or " Won't you miss being able to have this?" People need to have a better understanding of things before they open their mouths.

Hi everybody, I am new here and have just started my wls journey. I am going to be scheduled for surgery sometime around May and was just wondering if and of you have and tips for me. My surgeon wants me to go on and off of my pre-op diet weekly and I was wondering of this is a common thing?
