Disneyland... So, I have been feeling great! I'm drinking my Water. I'm having my Protein. I'm even trying to keep up with my Vitamins. Doctor released me for everything. I decided to go to Disneyland. I have a year pass so I don't mind going in the evening time. I got there at 5pm yesterday and left at 1030pm. At 9pm, I took out my protein snack and sat on the floor to watch the beautiful fireworks. Big mistake. I didn't pay attention to how much I was eating and ate way too fast. At 10 I wasn't feeling well and told my sister we need to go home now. It took us 30 mins to get to the tran line. That's when it happened. I got nausea and I started sweating real bad. I walked away from my sister and went to stand in a clear area. I leaned on the fence to try to sit on the floor before it happened but I was too late, my whole body was sweating, I became so light headed that my body collapsed. Before I knew it, there was a crowd around me. Asking me all kinds of questions that, at that moment, I just couldn't answer. It felt like all of this happened within 10 minutes to me, but my sister said we were there for 45 minutes. Then a nurse came and took my vitals. My blood pressure was low, so they brought a wheelchair to me and put me on a bus to my car. I was so embarrassed for causing a scene. At disneyland of all places. Ugh

I decided to go through pics on my phone this evening and see what I could come up with for a face comparison. Not sure if I'm doing this right. You look fabulous! I'm so sorry you don't feel fabulous. :-( I finally found a Protein that goes in smooth. Fuzzy Navel by nectar. But it has to be VERY cold and it has to be mixed in the smoothie blender. I keep it in a thermo while I drink it in slushy form.

I finally did it!!!!! I made it to ONEderland!! I'm so excited! My first goal has been accomplished! My second goal is to get to 180!

Yes! I even tested it with some very thin turkey deli and laughing cow cream cheese. It was great... nice to chew again.. everything turned out okay.

I'm swimming. It burns a lot of calories and it doesn't tire me out. I get thirsty, though. I don't know when I'll do weights. Lord knows my arms need it. ????

I count it as liquid. I read it's ideal to have some protein after every meal. My doctor said not to drink anything 30 minutes after. He said it doesn't matter too much if i drink before. Today i had chicken pot pie soup blended. It was very fulfilling. So I'm doing okay with that. I'm not doing okay with drinking protein... i still feel sick drinking them. The only thing i can stomach are the Isopure juices. And they MUST be super cold or I'll throw up. It's not even bad nausea anymore. Now it's straight up..blleehhk... I'm not taking vitamins either... ???? I'm going to ask for the vitamin patch too.. My follow-up is Wednesday. I think that is when she'll move me to the next phase.. I'm still on pureed.

I messed up guys... I took two bites of a cheese pizza. 2 small bites. I'd been feeling blue all day because when i start my menstrual cycle, i always easy chocolate cakes and donuts... and.... sigh... I suck so bad.. i planned to just eat the cheese on top... one thing let to another... and boom i took a bite... then another... can someone please tell me "it's okay"? I really need to hear it.

I'm not getting tired anymore going up the stairs. I'm eating again and the hives are mostly gone. Also, I think I've begun I feel hunger. Like my stomach is about to growl, but it never does. It's weird.

Yeah, i ate a can of tuna in two parts yesterday.. but my doctor put me off dairy... she thinks that I might be lacrosse intolerant now. But that's where most of the protein is!! Ughh

So, officially, I gained 5.6 pounds taking in those liquids. I took in 2 liters a day for 2 days. The first day I didn't pee at all. The second day I peed all day and all last night. So considering I'm good with liquids (because I can take 64oz now) my weigh in today put me at 28 pounds since surgery... bummer... I was so close to ONEderland... sigh.. what can you do? It's not like I'm at my starting weight, right? Lol On a bright note, the benadryl helped a lot. My hives are mostly gone. I'm going back to Pepcid today and wait for my lame doctor to respond. The only problem now is Protein.. I can't stomach it for the life of me. I've tried a variety of brands and all of them make me want to throw up right after.

Geez...I think it's from the new medication the doctor put me on. That's when they started... but i just brushed it off like maybe it was something that bit me. Then the next morning i had more.. so bad that i thought maybe i had lice.. i don't know what to do.. i put cortizone but I'm getting new ones. That's funny you say that... when I had my stall, it only lasted 4 days. I was very frustrated and thought, what if the doctor made me think I was getting surgery but didn't really give it to me??!! My mom thought I was being silly. As of today, since surgery I've lost an even 34 pounds. But I've lost 8 pounds in the last 4 days because I've been sick. I hope I don't gain a lot when I have the fluids today. In total I'm 0.4 pounds away from losing 50 lbs since I stared January 21. And 4.8 pounds away from ONEderland. I'm very excited. Oh and by the way, I am a daily weigher ........ GUILTY!!!

So my Doctor did not like my blood work. She told me to go to the doctors to get fluids tomorrow and Friday. I was going to Disneyland tomorrow. She said... uuummmmmm no you're not!! Absolutely not! You're going to get fluids, then you're going home and you will rest! I said... oh okay. The whether is really bad right now.. 80-95 and she wants me at home. I hope i feel better after that... I'm happy I am able to eat. Who ever has had fluids in, can you give me some advice? I heard somewhere that I'll be really cold. It's this true? Doc said it'll last about 3 hours!!! Please let me know. Thanks guys!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that i just ate 1/4 of a banana!!!! I'm so excited... I can go back to eating.

No... I mean yes and no... i still have the same problem. But I'm not bed bound anymore. I feel like there is some sort of obstruction inside. Everytime i drink water it hurts. As if a whole lemon is trying to get through. Since my doctor didn't answer, I went to any doctor that was available to see me today. He gave me x-rays and didn't see anything. So he called the Bariatric department and spoke to a doctor. There doctor told him to order blood work and a stool sample. He said what I'm feeling is common and needs to be taken care of immediately. He told him that this could be many things. I wanted to lose weight but 8.5 pounds in 4 days??... that's just too much. I don't even want to eat. I'm at 207 now. I'm happy, but I wish I was okay.

I'm still the same. I'm in the waiting area for an x-ray of the intestines. Since my Bariatric doctor hasn't called me. Smh.. I hope you're doing better than me.
