Sleeved 12/16 by Dr Marcotte at Loyola. Great experience. Nurses were wonderful and took great care of me. Dr Marcotte is great at listening and answering any questions I have.

Merry Christmas! I was sleeved 12/16 and can compare except I still can't get all my protein in but thats because the taste grosses me out no matter what I mix it with -

How soon after surgery did you start running? I used to run 5ks and am planning on running my first half in March and I'd like to start training asap. -
Same happened to me. Asked for sleeve but was approved for bypass. Hospital had to resubmit and 2weeks later I was approved for the sleeve

12/16 for me as well and I'm super nervous. I know it'll be difficult but it will be worth it in the long run. Luckily I can always come here for great support!
