  3. Thanks lady's! I was just wondering and didn't think of the question while at my last appointment. I got a migraine my first day with no caffeine, I have been having 2oz in the morning just to cut the headaches.
  4. Just a quick question about the pre-op diet why is caffeine not allowed? I am doing a one week per-op diet be for surgery. Dose anybody know why we are not allowed caffeine?

  7. My surgeons office made me take off my shoes and socks and pull my pants up to check for ankle weights! I ate a huge lunch and drank a lot of water! I had to gain 10lbs! Any other time I can gain no problem this time I cut it closes! My BMI was 39.99 thank god they rounded it up to 40! I received my approval last week and scheduled for surgery on the 19th. [emoji106]????
  8. I check in with my Doctor once a month, my doc is awesome I enjoyed every visit. And the 6 months really dose fly by. I was approved last Thursday. Spoke with my preop Cordinator today and I'm looking at having surgery towards the end of the month![emoji2]good luck to you!
  9. So was I! I was sure they would find some reason to say no. Even tho I met all the requirement. My BMI was 40 with no comorbiditys. At all of my weigh in's with my dr. I lost. However when I met my surgeon I had gained a pound from my last weigh in with my Doctor! I was sure that was the nail in my coffin! But luck was on my side and I was approve last Thursday. I'm waiting in the surgeons Cordinator to get back with me now! She taking forever and never calls me back...[emoji52]
  10. I started with a BMI of 40 I'm 5'9. Now it's 35.
  11. I think it was just my way of protecting myself so if I did get denied I wouldn't be so upset

  16. I can't believe it approved and looking forward to my surgery date! It only took 4 day to get an answer!

  18. @@Kyn13 they told me 7-14 days...ugh feels like forever. @@doingitmyway When I go to the Blue Cross Blue Shield's website and click on my plan then down to authorization and referrals. That's where I find it.
  19. I feel you'r waiting pain... I had my last weigh in on June 15. My paper work was submitted on the 19th and now I'm playing the waiting game... I check BCBS web site 4 times a day!
  20. I hope so, I called today and they said they needed my paperwork to be submitted on paper and not electronically... And that was an hour after they received it. I'm really hoping they make a decision fast.[emoji1317][emoji1317][emoji1317]
  21. let the wait begin my paper work was submitted yesterday. fingers crossed it go's by fast.
