6 months post op
I'm 6 months post op also and haven't experienced this. I eat 3 meals a day and maybe a snack depending on the day if I am hungry or my schedule. My nut said that I should be eating between 600-800 calories a day. I guess that depends on your center though.

Half of that was to the hospital and half was to the anesthesia

Cigna out of pocket expenses
I had bypass, but my Cigna at the time I only paid maybe $900. Of course that can vary with you plan and what not.

Wrist Wearable HR Monitors
I agree with the Apple Watch since you have an iPhone. I love mine and especially because it tracks everything. I also use myplate for my food and it syncs to my watch so everything is together. Best thing ever! I only take it off to charge and if I'm doing things around water.

Out to the bars?
I'm not a bar person unless I have friends visiting that want to go. I will go if it's a watch party for a game or something like that. But, I have also thought about the online stuff just not sure I want to do it yet.

C25K
I always get stuck after the first few weeks. But mine has more to do with my lungs than my legs being tired. I have asthma so I always have trouble. I'm starting over this week and will probably have to stretch some of the earlier weeks out.

Sodas
I had to quit drinking sodas cold turkey. If I have just a sip I'm going to drink the whole thing, so I couldn't ween myself off like others. I understand how hard it is to quit them.

Where to shop after you won't fit in plus size anymore?
While losing weight I've been doing Gap and Old Navy because of cost. But I like JCrew, Talbots, and some others.

Revision from Band - Surgeon wants sleeve, I want bypass!
I didn't have a revision, but. When I met with my surgeon I was wanting the sleeve and he said bypass because of my medical history.

Working out
I don't eat back my calories but I don't feel as bad if I go over my calories and I have worked out.

Any ideas for Bento Box Lunch?
I've started to eat the p3 by Oscar Mayer. It has 13 gram of protein of course it would be awhile before you could eat that. Also, Jennie-O makes turkey sticks that come in packaging like sting cheese. I've only found them at Walmart. I took milk a lot to work as a snack early on because it filled me up and counted towards my liquid.

Has anyone found the journey after surgery easy?
What made it easy for me is the fear of eating something I'm not supposed to and getting sick. My mind still wants to eat a lot, so that's an adjustment I'm still working on.

I'm probably similar as you.

Shame in sharing WLS with friends/family?
I didn't tell people at work. I just said I needed surgery and had to take off 2 weeks. Once I got back and they saw what I was eating and that I had already lost weight some of them picked up on it. Others I told after I had lost a significant amount of weight and they were curious.

Target brand protein ?
I've wanted to try it, but I'm nervous buying a big container. I always buy sample packets of powder to see if I like it.

Fairlife Milk
I just tried their milk and like it. I'm pretty picky when it comes to milk. I'm glad I found it so when I cook with it, it will add protein to things.

Sweet Tooth
Thanks for the ideas! I do the pudding a lot. I've just been on Pinterest (bad idea) and saw a bunch of cookie recipes and it got my sweet tooth going. I haven't really had a sweet tooth since surgery or at least not like it was before.

Mine was 2 protein drinks or bar a day and one meal that consisted of lean meat, veggie, and a small potato.

Scared because I cheated
I had a hard time on the liquid diet too. I drank a lot of milk because i couldn't stomach the protein drinks. I wish I had know about some of the other protein waters and such at that stage. But it will get better.
