    100lbs before and after

Awesome job!! I was sleeved 3/16/16 and just broke the 3 week stall. Any tips? Sent from my SM-G530T using the BariatricPal App 1excited I have been fortunate to not have had any stalls as of yet but I switch up my exercises every week because even before surgery my body got used to doing an exercise to quickly and then I wouldn't have results. I am also fortunate to have 2 personal trainers as best friends and have my best interest at heart so they make the routines for me each week. i am also very conscious about what I am eating even though it is still in very small amounts I am making healthy protein packed choices I mainly eat meat (steak, chicken, fish and turkey) chat this point don't have room for much else. I walk everyday on lunch for 45 to 55 mins and take frequent breaks to help get to my 10,000 steps a day. Best advice I have for you is to be doing this for yourself and no one else you will be your best motivation or your own worst enemy. Sometimes we have to get out of our own way and step out on another path. I have changed my way of thinking no more mindless snacking, meals are prepped and thought out every Sunday for the week and exercise is on top of my daily activities to do. I wish you the best of luck on your journey!.

I Want To See Before & After Pics! (Cont'd)

Sleeved 11/16/15 approaching 5 months out and feeling great the best decision I have made for myself in a very long time. Before pic was taken 2 weeks prior to surgery after 2 weeks ago over 112 pounds lost!
  4. I had gastric sleeve surgery on 11-16-15 and am 51 pounds down as of today. I am happy about the weight loss but I am having extreme buyers remorse now. I can't get in all of my fluids because I am always nauseous my nausea medication makes my heartburn worse and me extremely sleepy. This is beginning to feel like a nightmare I cannot wake up from. I don't eat much because of the nausea I don't really know what to do starting to get depressed feeling alone in this battle seems like everyone else is breasing through this.
  5. Angie 13 pounds is an excellent lose keep up the good work. One thing to keep in mind is that we all lose a different speeds I have a lot to lose so naturally mine drops faster at the beginning not to mention I wasn't feeling great for the 1st 4 weeks so all I was doing was not getting much food in and walking (my stress relief) which I think helped the weight drop quickly. Good luck on your journey.
  6. I found I have a hard time drinking plain Water. I have to add something to it like crystal light or diet snapple packets. I will drink mostly that and sip water in between to get use to the plain water. Now I am able to take plain water cold, but room temp is still a challenge. Of course, I am now working on that as well. Mia I see you just had your procedure in November as well helps to hear some of your feedback as well thank you are you having any complications?
  7. Trust me bellabloom that eating thought has been out the window. I don't really think about eating much because I am not hungry. Thanks for the tips hydration is definitely the key feeling much better after leaving the hospital and getting fluids and a different nausea med.
  8. RKing are you having any issues with food I have been from the beginning just always nauseous.
  9. Trillian I am trying to drink crystal light and the frozen pops as well they are ok but a but strong to my taste buds right now. I am at the hospital now because I felt so bad the morning with cramps and dry heaves. I have had 2 bags of saline thus far but still can't urinate have to get hydration together I hope that will be the key to feeling better.
  10. Thanks WL Warrior I have been trying to get in more fluids just really hard when everything makes you want to vomit.

New sleevers how are you doing

I'm 4 weeks out from my sleeve surgery and feel like I am in a nightmare I can't wake up from. I'm always nauseous and can only get down about an ounce of food at any sitting which at best is 2 a day. Still struggling with fluid intake and definitely can't get my protien in as I have grown an adversion to the shakes and am now lactose intolerant. Praying this will get better seems like everyone else that has had the surgery around the same time as me and even after are having an easier time than I am. 51 pounds down but feel like my quality of life is down as well starting to get depressed and that is so not me.
