What they all said! Can you make half the amount of muffins so there are no leftovers? Load the eggs up with veggies. I just got surgery approval 15 minutes ago...I need to take a breath....and I start my liquid phase on Sunday. I plan to eat festive on Christmas but we are making 2 dishes and not 12 like we normally do. Then back on to liquid only! My husband has been amazing since he is the one losing his tasty food!

ESSENCE46, I don't know where you are in your journey....but yes!! You are truly beautiful. That is a lovely photo!

I love it there! I was there for my classes and my surgery is there...pending insurance approval. It is getting so close!!!
-
You all have been so great to share your numbers!! We all should never compare ourselves to others...but it is still so great to see the possibility that is there!
Still waiting on insurance approval for my 12/28 surgery!!

Any day time groups around there? I am with Dr. Brown's office and Dr. Irani. She is amazing and their staff is fantastic!

We got to practice sipping on our surgery class. We were there for 2 hours that day and every 15 minutes were to finish a tiny 1 Oz cup. It was a great way to let it sink into the attention we needed to pay to getting in Water and timing.

I prefer premium Protein. I tried them all! vanilla is great when you add pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon or any Toscano sugar free Syrup.

I highly recommend Clusie L.videos on YouTube about her weight loss surgery experience. She is so funny!

I am glad we have support here!

As I typed before, there is no comparison to other. I haven't met anyone who has had surgery so I just wanted to hear from others. I started working out and will amp that up after surgery. I am just in the waiting game now. In 2 weeks,if I get insurance approval, I would be home recovering!

Hrtnsol10, 49 lbs in 2 months is amazing! !! Does it feel odd inside your body, or in your brain, to lose that much that fast?

Love these updates!

53 lbs is AMAZING!! I cannot wait until my 12/28 surgery and I will then get to share amazing losses like you!
I have read a lot about stalls and how much they can mess with our heads. I am sure I too will have stalls.
I told my husband about stalls and to remind me to:
Increase my calories to about 200 a day more.
Track everything I eat.
Track my 64 ounces of Water.
Track my exercise and add something different.
Please keep posting back and remember stalls end!!
-
Keep going! Track everything like you did in the beginning. Good luck!

I am in Highlands Ranch too!! I want to hear all about your surgery!!

My friend forced me to take photos and measurements. I am now glad so when I hit a stall then I will take photos and new measurements. But boy oh boy was it hard to take the first photos... Looking at the photos was like looking at a stranger! Did anyone else feel that way?

I got the melts and they are tasty! We went over Vitamins in one of our classes and we were taught which ones you don't mix and why. I decided to buy a pill organizer to keep me on track. My surgery is the 28th so I am preparing now. I am also going to set my phone alarm in the beginning to make sure I remember.

Love love love! I am going to make a list!!

There are 2 ladies here from my 6 month class and they had surgery 12/7 and went home 12/8. They are up and about and are doing great! !
I am not sure what kind of after care you are referring to but I have appointments with my nutritionist every quarter for a year, my surgeon the same and the staff therapist twice in a year. Is that the kind of after care you mean?

Fantastic post and great for me to learn!

So very happy for you both! I will be reporting back in on the afternoon of 12/28. I requested the first surgery and mine will be 1.5 hours due to my hiatal hernia repair. So I know I will have the shoulder pain from the gas. I already have Gas-x strips ready!

Ken,
My surgery is the day before yours!

I loved your story! The sizing thing is so confusing. I don't have any idea what sizes I will be after losing 10 or 20 or 30 lbs. Is there a rough estimate on weight loss vs going down a size?
Your next sweater will be a smaller size and I bet it will be gorgeous! !
