  1. That's cool. Magee is a good hospital
  2. Maybe they can prescribe you a valium for the morning of to help calm you.
  3. Well hello Jeanfun!!! I know exactly where you are! Thanks for writing! Nice to know I have neighbors near by. How exciting to be getting started! Good luck at your first appt! Who is your surgeon? I'll be going to west penn even tho I don't want to. I go tomorrow for hopefully my final visit and hoping to set a date! I'm excited but don't want to get too excited! Are you planning for the sleeve?
  4. I can't get it to go off even after doing this. My app on my phone still shows over 500 notifications. Makes me crazy
  5. Good luck to you!!![emoji106]????
  6. No one? I'd love to hear what experiences you've had with this. Going for my date in 6 days!
  7. Oh my!!! That sounds delightful!☕️
  8. I love the bars! They are really good and very chewy. I would give them a 5⭐️
  9. I don't have a Sam's membership but do like your post of a powder form of the Premier Protein Oh your most welcome! Glad it helped you. The closest costco to me is about 17 miles so I opted for SAMs. I used to have both memberships but just cut down to one now. Sams will also slow coupons if you have them I think! Not positive. I believe if you break down the cost between the 12 pack and the 28 pack it's just pennies difference. Although with Costco you'll get more tootsie home???? I have yet to try the strawberry. I need to look for that one! Yum! Costco also carries the premier protein 18 pack for $24.99. Many times a coupon is available for less. Always have the 3 flavors vanilla, chocolate and strawberry in stock. By far they are my favor to this day 2 yrs out Thx u for sharing info and pics!!
  10. Hi SassyNanny. They were packs of 12 at SAMs club. I just got them yesterday. The pictures I posted were all the choices SAMs had. They're so good. The protein bars are really good too! Worth the purchase!
  11. Anyone out there from Pittsburgh Pa?
  12. Anyone out there from Pittsburgh?!?
  13. Do you put the extract in the shake for flavoring?I haven't yet but I've thought about it. I also bought the PB2 and it's a powder Peanut Butter. That would go into it also!I love pb2 but I'm unable to use it yet. I'm looking into other Proteins as well I just hadn't seen anyone use those. Let us know how it is!You got it!????

  15. Yeah I really like them. I picked up 3 cases. Got them for 16.66 today. Not sure you'd get them any cheaper.
  16. Wonder what it is with the left side that causes pain and so much discomfort. I've heard this by a few others as well. Interesting. Baby steps. I think your doing great so far! Stinks bending is the worst. I have a paralyzed dog that I need to bend over to manually express to pee 3x a day! This is gonna be very interesting. My biggest concern about me doing this!
  17. Hi Dawn! So glad to hear from you and to know all is good with you! Did you stay with the bypass? How is your pain? Are you able to move much? Glad your home!
  18. Hi Cindy. I too have back issues. I have 7 herniated discs in my lower back and have had 3 minor procedures on it with very little relief. I carry all my weight from my waist down so it just makes things harder. My back is always achy. I have neck issues, shoulder, foot and vein issues all due to my weight (well not my shoulder lol) I can't exercise cause of my foot being fractured and the doctor said its from my weight (who knows why). I would think any weight loss would benefit your back. I do think it would help you. It can help your posture or how you sit. How you stand and just the overall weight you tote around. So yes I too am getting it done to help with my back. Not sure that this helps you but it can let you know your not alone????
  19. Hi Connor I meet with my surgeon on March 3 to decide bypass or sleeve I'm hoping for sleeve but not sure. How bout you? Where are you sitting at this point? Where are you from? April is so close! Hopefully you can get it done in April. At my rate it looks like I maybe a July or August surgery. Sometime this week my coordinator is supposed to call with my appt dates. I'm getting very impatient lol. I started all this back in December. But had to wait for seminar which wasn't until late January. I have UPMC luckily with that insurance I just have to do a 6 month supervised diet, NUT/support group classes each month. (Due to a high BMI) Along with physic eval, labs, ABG pulmonary test, upper GI X-ray, and endoscope. My coordinator said she can get three of the tests scheduled and done in one day! Which is great... I also have to lose 5-10% weight in these 6 months What's the update with you?!? How are things going?
  20. Bufflehead I love the way you think!!!????????????????????
  21. I told people at work that i was having stomach issues and had to get a scope. During that scope they found I had a pretty decent hiatal hernia and lesions and a hole in my stomach and I need time off to get that all fixed. They also know my thyroid is all outta wack so I've said I've lost some weight getting that started to regulate and I've lost 10 pounds. Hopefully with getting everything fixed I'll lose s bunch of weight and feel better! This way when I come back a little lighter there won't be so much talk
