Hi Angela! Congrats on your surgery date! I was told April 11th but still waiting for approval from my insurance. My doctors office ended up not submitting enough clinical info so they had to retract my request and resubmit. Makes me mad but... Hoping it al gets taken care of this time around!

Which surgery will you be having? I will be having bypass.

Where are you located in Pittsburgh? I'm in the south hills near the village mall. How about you? Where will you be having your surgery?

I was lucky & my approval was no problem. Hopefully yours gets all fixed soon. I'll be having gastric bypass at West Penn Hospital. I'm from the Harmarville area near the Mills mall.

Surgery is coming up soon & I'm just starting to get a little nervous. I'm happy that I'm doing it but it's all of the unknowns of what you'll feel like after surgery

I'm having gastric bypass at west penn hospital also! Is your dr Dr Eid? That's who I have. Maybe we will end up being room mates! Wouldn't that be crazy!?! Your a bit far from where I live but not crazy far.

I'm on facebook too under Angela Bottles. Feel free to messenger me. My doctor is Dr Marr. Have you gotten your approval from insurance yet? I just had my pre-op appointment last week & the diet so far has been pretty easy (lost 156 lbs in 6 months), but the pre-op diet the week before of 3 Protein drinks a day us going to be the hardest as I just don't like them. In the end it will all be worth it.
