Thanks, yes he does support me having surgery but he just likes to always be the one getting the attention. I've spoken to him about it a thousand time before and nothing has or will change, that's just who he is. I just have to figure out how to deal with it and not let it get to me. I have 40 pounds to got to be at my goal weight, it's going slow but steady. Thanks.

I made the decision to have surgery and now that I'm losing weight my husband has started working out. Normally that would be a good thing if he didn't take every opportunity to find a way to make us losing weight all about him. I've been over weight for most of our relationship. He needed to lose 20 pounds and I need to lose 120. I want to be happy for him but every time someone who hasn't seen me in a while says something about my weight loss he says "look I lost weight too". Just trying to find a way to get past it.
