  1. Managed to make my goal yesterday with my protein, nutrients, fluids and activity....hopefully I can keep it up! It is definitely a challenge, but well worth the effort! :)

I also an kinda anal about my food intake and preparing ahead of time as I like to be on the go, so I have these 3 oz containers and bento boxes I use to portion out the 2oz of fluids (soup/pudding/cream of wheat/etc) throughout the day so I am set ahead of time.

Great ideas, BlueBongo! I am thinking of getting myself some bento boxes, I think they would be very helpful and like you, I want to set everything up ahead of time so I can grab food on the go. Do you find yourself getting very hungry? I sure do! BonnieJo,, I just want to say, please don't be too discouraged your weight went up. That is most likely water weight. I talked to my bariatric group about my weight loss which was at a total stand still for three weeks after my surgery. They told me that is very common and has to do with our body freaking out from the surgery and the changes. Things generally settle down and the weight loss really gets going after 6 weeks. Hope that encourages you!

Actually I haven't found myself getting hungry at all because I consistently am taking things in throughout the day to get all of my liquids and nutrients. Between the protein shakes, liquid meals, and water... I don't feel hungry. The only time I can say I do is sometimes in the early morning when I get up after I've slept for a long time. I've been doing a lot of hiking and walking as well, so I know I've probably been burning way more calories than the 700-900 I've been taking in. I'm looking forward to moving to mushy foods next week though.... can't come soon enough, lol. :)
