I have been trying to push liquids today and feel a little better. If I feel the same again I will def call my doctor. Thank you
Yes it absolutely can. Can you get in at least 2 protein shakes per day? Also try drinking liquids at room temp or warm that may help them go down. If you can't do that you may need to call your doctor for some IV fluids . It sounds like you could be very dehydrated.
No, I am apsolulty not getting in enough fluids or Protein I am still on liquids. Do you think that could effect me that severely?
Could be from a lack of fluids or calories. Are you getting enough Water and Protein each day?I am 8 days post op my body is a little achy, my incisions are a little sore but the worst is getting out of breath easily and getting severely fatigued. I could go up the stairs to shower and do a few things and get really winded and spotty vision. Has anyone else had this happen? Should I be worried?

I have bought a few different four packs or Atkins shakes and as the days go by I am starting to dislike the taste I'm 5 days post op. But to each is own.

this is my 4th day post op. The first few days were ruff, severe nausea and pain. I'm home and still very uncomfortable still having bad gas pains slight diarrhea. Sorry for tmi. I hope it's just from only being on liquids and not some sort of reaction to my Protein shakes. Getting liquids down still is so hard I'm suppose to drink 3 shakes per day I'm lucky if I can stomach one. I'm trying to do everything by the books and walk ect. This is a tough journey. I'm trying my best what more can we do right? Good luck to you on your journey.I was in two nights and I'm home for my 2nd night. It's been hell to say the least. I'm nauseous even keeping Water down. I'm on Zofran for it but it's barely touching it. Never been so miserable

Surgery was 930am yesturday, dident get back to my room until well after 1pm, I could not kick the anesthesia. I was out of it well into the night. I've had severe nausea and gas pains. Had to switch from morphine to Tylenol. Threw up twice yesturday what looked like old blood. It is no fun forcing that out I had spasms for a few hours after. I have been closing my eyes here and thier but have not really sleep much. After trying several different nausea meds I finally started to get some releif. Now just waiting for the morning hours to go for the Bari swallow so I can be cleared for liquids. My surgeon does not allow it until this test is cleared 24 hours after surgery. I'm trying to hang in thier.

I'm feeling the same way, surgery scheduled for Monday. I'm all full of emotions, the nerves are starting to set in we got this thought and will be looking back at this from the other side soon enough! Good luck on your journey!I have my pre admissions appointment in the morning and I have 7 days until surgery! I'm a bag of emotions! Happy, nervous, scared, anxious, excited! You name it and I'm feeling it right now. Asking for positive vibes and prayers that all goes well with my pre admissions appointment and nothing will come up that would stop my surgery from happening. ????

i am also scheduled for 10-31 and need to ask if I'm going to be supplied with one or should purchase one. I might just purchase one for home anyway either or.My surgery date is 10/31 and I'm trying to be as prepared as possible. My PA mentioned using one of these for comfort. Does anyone have any suggestions? I had laproscopy surgery before and it was not pleasant.
Thanks

im going to write down a few questions for the app on the 26th so I can render to ask the questions and not have my mind go blank I'm trying to think of anything that I should go over with him? Good luck Hun!So my appointment took all of 5 minutes. He went over my pre-op test results and said everything looks good, told me surgery would be about 45 minutes and said I was going to do great. Then I got my prescriptions and that was it.

I'm following I have my surgery scheduled for the 31 of this month and have had my first pre op as my surgeon has two. I have my second scheduled for the 26th. I'm also trying to get some ideas on what I can jot down to ask him?!!?My surgery is this FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!
Pre-op Appointment with my surgeon is this evening. I feel like I have done so much research and already talked to my Nurse so I think I'm pretty well informed.
Are there any questions I should be sure to ask tonight?

. My surgery date is 10-31 cw: 202. I'm so exited/nervous, good luck on your journey! Keep us posted!Hello this is me...
The one always hiding behind someone in pictures. The one always taking pictures but not wanting to be in the frame. The one not liking the reflection in the mirror. The one with high blood pressure, sleep apnea, pre diabetes , TMJ and living in constant pain. Always up in weight and rarely down. I've tried it all, HCG, phentermine, topamax, Belviq, Jenny, Seattle, Medifast,WW just to name a few, nothing worked for long. This new normal of yo-yo dieting weight loss then more gain was not normal to me.
So,I'm taking my life back in 3 days. I Will be in the pictures and no longer afraid of how it turns out. I will be healthy, and not live in pain. I'm nervous and I'm afraid, but I can't continue to live this way.
I'm choosing to self pay, because my Bmi is not enough to get approved by insurance in the US.
As I embark on this journey, I will update with pictures and how Things are progressing.
