Is it typical to be itchy as we lose weight? I'm 12 days post op and lost 12 pounds. I'm having mild itching over much of my body. Nothing servere, just scratchy. Any suggestions?

I had my sleeve surgery on New year's eve, just a week ago. My follow up visit is tomorrow. I'm 70 so postop has been a tad slower. I'm still adjusting to the schedules, small portions, Water, and a little pain when moving and gas from too big sips. It seems hard to get it all in and sleep, too. So far, liquids taste fine, and Vitamins are tasty too. Is it normal to dream about food? VSG. 12/31/2015 Pre-op weight 218, at home today 210. Surgeon Dr Thomas Chua. Surgical team, staff and experience at Aurora Milwaukee Sinai Medical Center have been outstanding. Far above expectations.

I think I understand with all the changes happening under my skin. It's just a real sign that things are happening! !
