    Exhausted on the ext level

That's sounding pretty good to me. I'm worried that so much sleeping and resting is putting you at risk for a blood clot. Are you using blood thinners? Doing ankle exercises? I wish I had something more to offer you except to check in with your surgeon.

This was meant to be lighthearted. Truly. It's just funny to me that something so automatic is now so purposeful.

    Coconut oil

I've used it for years and of course I started because it was supposed to be good for weight loss. Lol. There are two kinds; the pure oil in liquid form, and a solid that spreads like butter. The oil has no flavor and the solid tastes like coconut. You can use either for any purpose if you melt the solid. I happily use them both as much as possible. Coconut oil is good for your hair and skin and even has mild sunblock properties. Frying with it makes foods much healthier to eat because it is a medium chain. I also use it as a carrier oil for essential oils. Gee, I sound like a commercial! It makes the best brownies.....sigh.....

    Female problems post op...

It certainly can be. Even the stress of surgery can cause an irregularity. If you're very concerned, call your gyne. And don't forget to use something else for birth control this month since you were late a day.

    Question about initial weight loss

I vividly remember reading about someone who was interested in a high Protein diet. It was recommended that he lose weight at the rate of 8-10 pounds a month. He was very angry and said "at that rate it will take me two years to lose the weight!" The response to him asked what weight would he be in two years if he didn't start losing. I also remember reading about a sweet little old lady who passed away. When her family came to clean out her home, they found on the refrigerator the latest diet plan she had torn out of a magazine. This poor woman had been dieting her entire life! Right up until the end!! I am happy I have the opportunity to have the sleeve surgery with Dr. Altamirano and have a new lifestyle instead of spending my life feeling deprived because I'm dieting. It's maddening. Don't be discouraged over "slow" loss. A pound is a pound, and gone forever most likely. Congratulations on your journey so far.
