  1. I had my band done in Albertville which is like 4 hours from Auburn...and you may look in Birmingham....they are alot closer to Auburn...may an hour and a half or so
  2. well I am fixing to move to Auburn actually...lol and uh soooo I'm gonna have to find someone to do the same...I move in August 15th cause I am starting college...so if you find someone let me know and if I find someone I will let you know the same!!
  3. nahh I was just ramblin...I mean being single and waiting on someone special in general...not just cause we're losing weight...even though that gives more confidence (not that I need anymore lol) but anyway I just think it'd be awesome to have someone in my life that really has the same interests as well as the same "cured" struggle. I would totally date a bandster haha!! And not just cause it's cheaper...just cause we can relate and we know each other on a deeper level than most...the stripped emotional vunerable level!
  4. I do believe that the nervousness will eventually go away....you should be fine...and nah its not embarrassing. You're human and we think things over way too much. But it's great to see someone who actually thinks before they act...kinda refreshing
  5. haha you can mail it to me girl! lol
  6. just remain calm....the surgery isn't going anywhere!! I know how hectic insurance compainies can be we all do...Just keep the ball rolling and express your concerns of only one nurse to your doctor!!!!
  7. ummm ask your doctor to put down galbladder surgery or something in stead of the band....it's usually the same timing out as the band
  8. I didn't have a lot of trouble..only when I ate too fast....so trying eating slower and rememeber chew chew chew!!
  9. congrats!! and yes it was prolly drinking to fast and the cream of wheat...be easy your swelling hasn't gone down yet and your band isn't settled just yet!! keep up the good work and enjoy it!!
  10. sex life = AMAZING!! I have always been overtly sexual anyway but now more than ever...I've lost 40 lbs and can defiantley tell a difference..can't wait to lose more and see how that goes. Port didn't give me any probelms in any postition and my man is loving every minute just like always!!!
  11. Grow up Trixie or whatever your name is!! I am geez...you should be happy for people!! Good God!!! Jealous?? Can't work a camera?? They have manuals for that
  12. Ok so Dr. John is AMAZING!! He had the lap-band done himself so he's very sympathetic and can let you know exactly what to expect!! He's very caring and KNOWS what he's doing!!!! I am a Christian, so him praying with me before surgery meant alot and I didn't even ask.....haha. Good man...GREAT SURGEON...and great hospital!!! Knew he was the surgeon for me the first time I met him!! And he does all his own seminars!!! I mean what more can you ask for...Plus his office is very very helpful in matters of insurance..they submitted my stuff online and I was approved in 10 minutes! SO Alabamians JOHN GROVES IS THE WAY TOO GO!!!
  13. Congrats!!! Keep up the good work!!!

It seems so surreal...that one little surgery could change your life...change your outlook on life..but it did. I'm a better person and have better character....I'm still me, who I was before but I see things differently. Those who weren't friends before come around and those who had no romantic interest peak around the corner now...amazing what losing 30lbs can doo...what's gonna happen when I lose more??? Who knows I just know that I will always remain me and no one can change that!!! I also met an amazing guy and maybe it'll go somewhere who knows.......excited.. you BETTER believe it!!

  18. hey there! lol
  19. no girl!! lol that just sounds weird...he seems too desperate and needy...so not a turn on!! watch out there are alot of creeps on those things!!
  20. um they say you can have a little...I wouldn't drink but like a few sips...a day. I had a sonic sunrise earlier only because the orange juice separates the carbonation in the sprite...so I dunno what you can do to beer cause I don't drink it lol I've always been a liquor or wine kinda gal...I don't think a little would hurt but if you drink too much it will stretch your pouch
  21. ok that sounds about right with me too...I go in like 2 weeks to get my 1st fill...
