  1. I had surgery on 12/12/05. My weight was 320 lbs. I got down to 268 lbs. Worked out everyday cardio and weight trained. My eating habits was good. Then late 2006 I changed my hours from work from 2PM x 10 pm to 8AM x 5PM.. My eating habits went out the window and there were no workouts. I slowly gained my weight back and plus some. I have not been back to get a fill for about a year... Well 6 months ago my shift changed back to 2pm x 10 pm so I hope to start right after the holidays. I have a stationary bike now at home and just purchased select tech dumbbell set and weight bench from bowflex... I have done well with Low Carb .... I plan to go to the doctors office in Jan for an appt and fill.... Time to start over....

  6. Thanks missy0224 Same thing here with the embarrasment that I let myself get back to close to my original weight but I'm very ashamed of myself. I hated to go back to the Dr's office with the regain of my weight then to listen to the speach... Well lets do this together! Partner! Joe

Preview Preview Highest weight: 11/12/04-@ 362 lbs Band date/weight= Dec 13, 05/ 320 lbs Lowest weight: 268 lbs- 4/17/06 8/5/08- Last Dr Visit- 287.7 lbs 11-11-09 345 lbs ( First DR visit since 8/5/08) 11-1- 2010-339.2 In Dec 2005 I had the lap band done. I did pretty good.. Went to the gym everyday, watch what I ate and got down to 268 Lbs from 320 Lbs ...then I changed shifts at work ( use to work 1:45PM x 10:15PM).. to 8x5 PM... My eating habits went out the window and never went back to the gym.. I started to regain my weight and suddenly back to were I started from plus... ( It Stinks ) Well now I am back to working 1:45PM x 10:15PM and hope to get back to the gym soon. and hope to start eating right...I really enjoy looking at what people have eaten..helps me out on planning a menu... Would like a planning meal buddy... I really not a cook but yes I can make simple things like chicken!!!! Help.. Note: After the 1st of the year going to the Drs office for a fill..
  10. It has band awhile since I posted. I have been making wrong food choices and have re-gain my weight and plus.... I noticed yesterday for lunch I had a few pieces of chicken and that was it. I could not eat any more. About 30 minutes later I threw up. I know the band is working.. again with my weight gain its about wrong food choices. Well time to start up again. I weighted in this morning at 333.6 lbs ( sucks )... Goal weight 200 lbs My lowest after being banded was 269 lbs back in 5-16-06. I had no issues weighting my food then and working out was a biggie for me . Did it all the time in the past, and have to do it now. I need help with a menu, if you can post what you eat daily that would be a start me for. Thanks everyone! Joe H.

Tuesday - Feb 16,2010 Breakfast- Coffee Lunch- 2 slices of ham Snack 1 oz peanuts Dinner- 2 Jr Bacon cheeseburgers/ No bun ( From Wendy’s ) Snack- 2 Turkey breast/ cheese rolls ___________________________________________________ Wednesday -Feb 17, 2010 Breakfast- Coffee Lunch- 3 eggs w/ cheese Snack 1 oz almonds Dinner- 2 Jr Bacon cheeseburgers/ No bun ( From Wendy’s ) Snack- 2 melba toast

  19. Hi All I am back again, Long story short I messed up. I was banded on 11/13/05. My weight at the time was 320. ( my highest weight was 362 lbs back in 2004 )..I got down to 268 lbs. At the time I worked swing shift so during the day I worked out and my eating was controlled. When I started working 8X5 I stopped working out and my eating was out Of Control. We starting 2/11/09 I start working 2pm x 10 pm. So I will end up going back to the gym in the AM. My last fill was on 11/11/09. I was missing some fluid about 3.5cc. They said since it had been over a year it might be possible there was some fluid loss. They added .5 cc and when I went back the following month, I told them I had restriction so they did not check. I went down to 333 but regained. As of the 2nd week of Feb I feel I have loss restriction. I hope I don’t have a leak. Anyway I am back and with the new shift Hope to do better. I will schedule an appt for March for a fill.
  20. Just want to thank everyone that post what you have eating. I know this will help me out. I am now working from 2PM x 10PM and starting to hit the gym in the AM. I have posted on the mentor/need help board.. I can always use a mentor!
  21. I have been out of touch for awhile. My eating habits is out of control. I had my lap band surgery back in 12/05 and my weight was 320 lbs... I was doing good and had gone down to lbs.. I have not been back for a fill for over a year now. I am reviewing menus now and trying to control my intake of food. If you follow a plan and think it could help me please send it my way. I need all the help I can get!   24. Hi All... Georgia Girl.... I am hoping I do not have a leak in my band... I have not been to the Dr office for over 12 months and after gaining 50 plus lbs I went back for a fill. I had 9.5cc last year and they only found 6.5 cc.. They got me up to 7cc and will check again in a few weeks to see if I am holding the fluid... They said it might have dissipated over time but cant tell me for sure.. I don't have cravings like I had before, but we will see.. B- Protein shot/ coffee S- Sf pudding L- 3oz BBQ pork, 1/2 cup Mac&cheese,1/2 cup beans D - EAS chocolate Protein drink/SF Jello S- 1oz almonds/coffee

    Law enforcement thread

    Hi All I work For the State Of Colorado-Department Of Corrections...Been on the job for 13 years... I was banded back on 12/13/05...I was 320 lbs then I was doing pretty good. Working out in the AM and working swingshift 2PM x 10pm... At work I do alot of walking...especally climbing stairs.....( comparable to a street cop in NYC walking the beat )...I got my weight down to 268 lbs..Then my shift changed..8am x 5pm..Mon-Fri.. Yes basically a desk job... My eating habits went to hell, I stop working out..and did not make a Dr. appt...I felt like crap, uniform fits tight...it sucks...I finally made an appt for a fill on 11/11/09... I weighted in @ 345 lbs...That really sucks..I just let myself go like that...I made a follow up appt for Dec 03..hope to have at least lost 6lbs in 3 weeks...we will see...I should know better if your wearing a uniform and you are a Peace Officer you are an automatic target..If you work the streets you catch them, after they are convicted we hold them....In the streets they want to shoot you, in Prison/Jail they want to shank you... The end result is the same... We all need to be healthy for the line of work we do and to protect the public/your partner and yourself.. What ever you do don't give up..Keep your Dr. Appt and keep motivated!!!! Stay Strong!!!! Joe
