    Treadmills for a obese beginner!!!

I would like to say the start of my second month i was doing 40 min ... then by 2.5 months I would rotate 20-40-60 min. The 20 min I started to include short jogging 1 min and walk about 3 min ... It felt really good..

    Treadmills for a obese beginner!!!

When I first started after surgery I did the treadmill everyday. My weight was around 320 Lbs.. I walked 20 min a day and got up to 40-60 min. Did not bother with the distance some days I felt better then others I even started to jog. My tendons around my one of my ankles started to flare up so there were times I just did weight training. Git down to 267 lbs then I messed up. I am looking at getting a treadmill for the house

    Weight Watchers Online: Support Thread

Thanks Sassyfrass! When I got my lapband back in 2005 I did well at one point back in 2006 going down to 267 lbs... I normally do Low Carb but not for very long I tried WW but it was for only a very short time ( few weeks).. After reading the threads I like to try it again. Seems like so many on here have had good results. I do need to make a Dr's appt for blood work and fill. Joe

    Confused

How many of you have done Low Carb and Low Calorie and which one did you choose to stick with. I started with Low Calorie with 800-1200 cal a month. I switch to Low Carb but I like the choices I have with Low Cal just need to consume less... So I just dont know which one to stick with.

    Confused

Hi All Well not doing good this week. As of this morning up to 323.2 from 321... Been doing low carb but I like variety so I will end up doing LC this week... Hope to get back on track.
  13. - Hi Everyone Been ok but I have cheated..here and there . So I have been between 331-337 now. Just last week I purchased a new scale. I weighted myself with the old scale and the new scale and the new scale shows a plus 3 lb difference. Thinking that the new scale was MAYBE defective I returned it. I cant remember the brand but it was not a well known one I don't think. I purchased it because it talked. Well I got a new scale yesterday ( Taylor brand ) and again weight myself this morning with the old one, then the new one. Again 2-3 lbs plus difference. This is a simple scale with big number screen. The old scale I have is a Health-O- Meter which has the body fat measurement features on it which almost never works. Thinking ok, maybe the old scale does not work I went to the gym this AM and yes first time in a year and weight myself first at home, then at the gym. The new scale and the gym scale are really close with a 0.2 difference. So I think I will use the new scale from now on... I did manage to get in a 30 minute cardio workout and light weight training. felt really good. Well with the old scale I was up to 334 New scale: 337 lbs... I will stay with the new scale. Best scale ever had was the Tanita HD-351 digital weight scale... http://www.tanita.co...digital-scales/ Made a Dr's appt for next month. Last time I was at the Dr's office was Dec 12,2009 and weight 341 lbs... I would like to be 330 by March 02 next Dr's appt which I think can be attainable. Start diet again 1/26/2011 Weight: 339.8 lbs 2-9-11- C/W- 331.2 lbs 2-16-11- 331.6 lbs (Old Scale) 2-23-11-

Hi Jack The talking scale thing was just for a change ...... Well tomorrow will be my weekly weight in so we will see if I reached my weekly goal weight of 328 lbs. I'm still working out a min of 3-4 x a week.... My eating habits could be better... Was thinking of doing low carb, but I like to have choices. If I want to have spaghetti or a slice of pizza I have it.. Spaghetti just a small portion , pizza 1 slice thin crust....

Weekly weight in: Well I finally got out of the 331-332 Lbs mark and hit 330 lbs this morning. Went to the Dr's office after 13 months of not doing any follow-up/ fills... Had a fill ... My BP was a little high. I am lacking Vitamin D so I am ordering some. My Iron and cholesterol was good. Last year needed some attention. My goal for the next week weight in is to get to 328 lbs... Need to get to the gym a min of 3 x a week.... I have been cutting my calories to about 1,000 a day, going to change it up a bit and try to get in more Protein.

Weekly weight in: Today I weighed in at 331.0 ( with the new scale). The old scale would have read 328-329. I took a break from the gym today...Just felling tired today. I work from 2pm x 10PM ... When I get home from work around 10:30 PM I have some turkey slices. I dont think I should be eating after 8:00 PM but just feel like I need a little something to get me through. I don't go to bed until 12 midnight and get up around 6:30 AM to get ready to head to the gym at 7:30 AM
