I am on day 3 pre op diet! I feel your pain. I have been alternating between water hot tea and flavored water in between protein drinks. I will have my first temptation on Friday when I'm meeting a friend for lunch.. But I told her I'm on a liquid diet already I'm hoping that helps. @amywolfe goodluck on Monday! Will be thinking of you

Congrats! I just found out today I was approved too!

I feel your pain ! The same thing happened to me.... I was done with all my requirements in oct 17 and today , after I bugged the dr office about 10 times it was finally submitted. Insurance had sent a request for more info on oct 28th and today they sent it in. Took so long I consider switching dr offices. But I heard back already insurance has approved so I'm happy! Now to get the Egd and surgery scheduled!!

Just heard from the office that I've been approved so now I just have to do the EGD and then the liquid diet and I'm set!! Can't wait!! I am anxiously awaiting the date!

I'm working with Dr scarborough as well and have positive experiences. Until the hurry up and. Wait stage. I have a question for the precert coordinator and she won't call me back!!! My insurance tells me they have sent two letters to the office asking for more info but haven't received a response yet and it's been two weeks since they started the request! It's quite frustrating to me because I did everything I had to do and was expecting that this part would go smoothly because the office does this for a living but I've been disappointed in this part! I'm really hoping that the update from the insurance was incorrect and they had it wrong!! Sitting here very frustrated!

They submitted my pre cert today so fingers crossed!

It's weird but I love isopure wartermelon and the blue raspberry they have a bit is sour punch to them so they are more palatable for me than the other drinks! Drink them with ice!
