My doctor has me drink 3 Protein Shakes a day, one cup of non starchy vegetables, and one lean cuisine that is between 250-300 calories. Just started this pre-op diet yesterday. Surgery on 11/30

Awesome! Congrats!

Yay for the 30th. Can't wait for weight loss and surgery to be done .

My husband and I have the same surgeon. Not sure who will go first... They will tell us the Friday before . it is nice to be on the same pre-op diet and that we will be following same stages of diet post op. My husband is terrified though he won't admit it. He doesn't share feelings as much as I do so I have found this forum useful for Bariatric chats:)

My date is Nov 30th, from Washington

My two week pre op diet consists of three Protein Shakes a day, one cup of non starchy vegetables, and one TV lean cuisine or weight watchers dinner between 250-300 calories. I do liquids only for the day prior to surgery.

I will definitely ask my doctor about Bariatric fusion. I agree that something has to taste good for compliance. I will probably order some and check it out. Thanks for the tip!
. I read some reviews about Bariatric fusion that were pretty negative, stating that does not have complete Vitamin amounts etc. I have been wanting to ask my doctors opinion .
Have you tried the Bariatric fusion Multivitamin Soft chews? They are delicious and sugar free. I have tried about every Vitamin there is and these are the best tasting. I'll post a pic of what I am usingI just got my Bariatric pal powdered Soup variety pack that I ordered online. Not yet brave enough to try. I got peppermint B 12 and so much better than the cherry flavor! I got orange chewable multivitamin from Bariatric Advantage and it is really nasty. Starting to lose hope of a multivitamin I can stand:(
I compared them to Bariatric Advantage, they are the same amounts of nutrients. The soft chews you will need 3 chews twice daily. Bariatric Advantage, you use 2 tablets per day.
I would rather have good tasting Vitamins twice a day , versus chalky bad after taste like the BA chewables. I will be more compliant if the taste is good.

I will try the mint b12...thanks for the suggestion! I am excited for all of us with November surgery dates. Think we should start a Facebook group as others have done for people who share the same surgery month. Being able to message in real time with Facebook might be cool. Anyone interested in this?

Are you feeling hungry or did you feel adjusted to partial liquid diet after a few days? Any favorite foods/drinks? Good luck with surgery...must be on Monday?

Wow...our dates are exactly the same Stephanie! Right now I am researching and trying different supplements. I tried a cherry b-12 sublingual that was super gross. Hoping to find something better. Gonna try Bariatric Advantage berry multi Vitamin chews...I am hoping it tastes like a starburst:)

My surgery date is Nov 9th. I am currently on a pre op diet, but I don't have to do a liquid diet.< /p>

My surgery date is Nov 30th. I start pre op diet 11/16. I have a rambunctious 16 month old. I am nervous about surgery too. Wanna be surgery buddies?

Maybe my stomach will shrink with less food. I think your right that it will get easier after first few days. My doctor wants me to start pre op diet 11/16. I think I will start 11/1 to have more adjustment time and lose more before surgery. I am 20 lbs up from when I got approved for surgery.....I need to get scale moving the other direction! When is your surgery queen?

My husband and I will both be having rny surgery on November 30th. I am nervous about starting pre-op diet and afraid I will be so hungry.
