I'm in Edgewater/Andersonville. Looking for some friends with related matters and determination. (Sorry it sounds like a personals as lol) I went to a hospital called Good Samaritan in Downers Grove. My Batiatric clinic is Lifeweigh Bariatric. They are amazing. They have a support group but it's also in Downers Grove. So I don't attend. Main reason why I'm looking for folks in Chicago.

I'm also from Chicago. What part of Chicago are you from? I haven't had surgery yet. I'm scheduled for Oct 22nd.

I have unflavored Protein. I put it in my tuna, v8, smoothies, chicken when I did soft purée stage. For liquids I just tried a bunch of diff Proteins before my surgery while I was loosing and found 2 favs Unjury strawberry and chocolate and my most fav in the world is Bariatric Fusion. Strawberry shortcake!!!! Tastes great and not so sweet they both have 5< sugars and sane in carbs!! Also you full. I'm 6 weeks post and I still use those Protein Drinks and will fit life!! I used the little cups they gave me, until I reached stage 4 -reg diet. The Protein is the most important. But for food I liked mushy things like can salad. Turkey salads, puréed in the cups and that was great. Cheese!!!! Fish baked, tuna out of the can with celery salt, Greek yogurts, all have High protein, low low sugars and low carbs.

I'm close, Aug 19th. 6 weeks out. I'm in reg diet but still limited on my workouts. Still sore at surgery area too.

Looking for friendly sleevers in Chicago to be sleever/workout buddies with. New to Chicago and do not know anyone who has had this procedure! Looking for support and friendship.

Hello All!!

I am 6 weeks POST sleeve surgery, kinda new to Chicago and need to find some sleever friends who are on the same journey and in the same boat as me. I really want to make some friends for sleever support, gym support, and overall friendship support.

I'm 6 Weeks after surgery and doing very well. I'm able to start working out, lower body only still at the moment, and I'm actually very excited about it. I have a full membership at Xsport and it is fantastic. Hoping to be able to meet some new friends and to share this amazing journey or new life, new achievements, new goals, and more excitingly NEW CLOTHES = SHOPPING!!!!

Hope this forum is successful not only n finding others out there like me for very informational.

I have noticed that is seems NO ONES journey is the same, as mine too is very different from any other I have read about thus far.
