Hope all is well with your mom. Take care.
Thank you. She's still in surgery. Hoping that in another hour or two she'll be done and in recovery.

York, pa here ...sleeved sept 29 dr monk
You're right or the bridge from me. I'm on top of 441 by Columbia.

I am kind of having a similar situation, but my restriction is I can eat ANYTHING with no trouble. I know that may sound like a good thing, but I was hoping certain things wouldn't agree with me so it would be easier to stay away from them! Anyone else? BTW I AM 4.5 weeks post sleeve.
I too can eat just about anything. The only thing that I can't eat is cottage cheese. I can't stand the taste now.

I use my measurements to tell where I'm losing. I try to measure every 3 weeks, sometimes it's weekly. You'd be very surprised how many inches you lose and don't realize it.

The last 2 weeks have been terrible for me for exercise. Especially this week with the holiday. I only did 2 days worth of any type of exercise. My weight was 207 this morning.
A good note is I passed my goal of 208 already!

I'm so glad to see a few others joining us. It's nice to have people who share similar traits. Keep up the good work everyone.
My 3 months is tomorrow. I won't be getting on the scale because my mother is having major back surgery tomorrow and we have to be at the hospital at 530 in the morning. I'll be lucky to get a shower lol.
I'll check my weight on weds.

Just dropping by to see how your doing. Hope you had a great weekend. I decided yesterday to come to my sisters overnight (a 3 hr trip), just to get away for a day. They all seem to think I look so different lol. I still see me. I guess someday it'll all catch up and I'll see what everyone else sees.

I think we all wish we could've done it on our own. But sometimes God has other plans for us. Now we all have the chance to get and stay healthy for the rest of our lives. No more yoyos for any of us. Good luck.

I can not get myself to slow way down when I eat, therefore I'm constantly gassy and uncomfortable. Unfortunately I only remember to slow when when it too late!

Hi everybody just curious im 3 months post op and i have lost 50 pounds to me i feel like im not losing enough weight can u guys share how much weightu have lost for 3 months in just trying to see if im doing ok
Thanks in advance
I am 3 mos on the 1st and I'm down 36# from surgery but 50# total since my preop diet. So you are doing great. When have you ever lost 50 in 3 mos?? Not everyone loses at the same speed. Your body knows what it needs to do. Keep plugging along. And congrats on 50#!

I had mine when I had surgery, I was just ending it. Then I got it again 2 weeks later and had it for 3 weeks. It had been so irregular. I'm on jolessa and typically only have my period every 3 months but now I'm out of whack so god knows when I'll have it again. I'm also 3 months post op on Dec 1.

I'll admit I danced naked this morning! Yea that's a sight you didn't want to see lol. But I'm officially down 50# from my highest weight. I don't calculate from surgery as most people do. I'm going from my highest weight the week of my pre-op diet. I have a long way to go but I feel good and I'm happy with how things are going. Everyone tries to compare losses, I look at it this way. My body is going to do its thing in its own time. I have no set date to meet my goal weight as I didn't gain areal this weight over night and it's certainly not going to come off over night. Slow and steady wins the race!

Just had to tell you I hit 50# gone today! Onederland is only 11 pounds away.

I absolutely love Chinese food. I have not attempted it yet. I also love sushi. I think I might try some this weekend.

Congrats! Keep going and never look back.
At 2 weeks post-op, my non VSG world shattered. I am trying to pick up the pieces...

I am so sorry to hear about your son. Many prayers to you and your family. You need to keep your Proteins high so you can function through this, I know easier said than done. But try not only for your son but for yourself. God bless you all.
