  1. I am kind of having a similar situation, but my restriction is I can eat ANYTHING with no trouble. I know that may sound like a good thing, but I was hoping certain things wouldn't agree with me so it would be easier to stay away from them! Anyone else? BTW I AM 4.5 weeks post sleeve.

I too can eat just about anything. The only thing that I can't eat is cottage cheese. I can't stand the taste now.

  2. I'm also from Lancaster County, Millersville to be exact and my surgery will be performed by Dr. Ku on12/9 @@lancaster General.

I had dr mcphee he was awesome. Are you going to group on thurs? Maybe we can introduce ourselves.
I wasn't planning on attending, I have my pre-op class Wednesday, maybe I'll catch you at the next one.

That sounds good. I try to make every one of them. I have missed 2 though. Not happy about it but what can ya do.

  3. I'm so glad to see a few others joining us. It's nice to have people who share similar traits. Keep up the good work everyone.

My 3 months is tomorrow. I won't be getting on the scale because my mother is having major back surgery tomorrow and we have to be at the hospital at 530 in the morning. I'll be lucky to get a shower lol.

I'll check my weight on weds.

  4. Hi everybody just curious im 3 months post op and i have lost 50 pounds to me i feel like im not losing enough weight can u guys share how much weightu have lost for 3 months in just trying to see if im doing ok

    Thanks in advance

I am 3 mos on the 1st and I'm down 36# from surgery but 50# total since my preop diet. So you are doing great. When have you ever lost 50 in 3 mos?? Not everyone loses at the same speed. Your body knows what it needs to do. Keep plugging along. And congrats on 50#!

  5. I'll admit I danced naked this morning! Yea that's a sight you didn't want to see lol. But I'm officially down 50# from my highest weight. I don't calculate from surgery as most people do. I'm going from my highest weight the week of my pre-op diet. I have a long way to go but I feel good and I'm happy with how things are going. Everyone tries to compare losses, I look at it this way. My body is going to do its thing in its own time. I have no set date to meet my goal weight as I didn't gain areal this weight over night and it's certainly not going to come off over night. Slow and steady wins the race!
