    The Plateau From Hell

Have you broken through your stall? I seem to stall every other week or so. How high was your bmi? Mine was barely over 40 so I'll be a slow loser. I'm 2 months out and only down 40lbs since preop liquids til today. I'm losing about 2-3 lb per week max. And that's on weeks I dont stall. Stalls suck but we will get through them.

    My story is new gossip:(

I tell whoever I want to tell and if they tell someone else oh well. I don't care what people think. It's my life. I know that I have struggled for years with yo yo dieting. I did everything with no success, so it's time for me to succeed. Let them say what they want. Your sister in law may be scared that you'll look much better than her. Jealousy isn't pretty.

    September surgeries!

Breakfast is usually 1 egg and 2 slices turkey bacon, snack is usually a oikos triple zero yogurt or string cheese, lunch tuna fish or a high protein weight watchers meal-i usually eat about 1/2 of it, then dinner is salmon chicken or some other meat and a veg.
  13. You are doing awesome. Eventually you will be drinking lots and lots so no worries. One day at a time.

    need help/overeating

All I can say is we are human. It was one day. Get back to the basics and start again tomorrow. Don't be so hard on yourself. We all screw up. For many years we ate and ate and ate, now we have to make a conscious effort not to eat things that are bad for us or eat too much. Limit yourself and stick to it. You got this!

    My story...

Congrats on making the decision to change your life. You will not regret it. You will be able to have your much loved sweets eventually just not for awhile. Once you start losing weight for good, you will be much happier. I will never regret giving up food that was killing me. A little food goes goes a long way these days. I still eat a bite of a sweet treat now and again. No its not on my meal plan but I don't deny myself anything. I'm afraid of I do, I'll just say screw it and give up. Good luck on your journey.

    September surgeries!

Congrats on your surgery reetz8 and shriner37. My surgery was uneventful as well. I am now on regular foods too and having a hard time getting in all my proteins and water as well. I am trying to be fully aware but sometimes life gets in the way ya know.
  25. Welcome! My name is Lorri and I'm 40 yrs old. I just got sleeved on Sept 1st. You will not regret it. It is by far the best decision I have ever made. My daughter just got hers done 2 weeks ago. The weight loss is amazing and you feel pretty great only a few weeks out from surgery. Do this for you. You won't regret it. Follow the rules and everything will be just fine.
