  3. I work as a RN on a postpartum unit and I asked the lactation nurses about beast feeding and weight loss patients. I'm not sure if there are enough studies done with weight loss patients and breast feeding for her to give me a 100% answer but she said she wouldn't be surprised if there was less milk production, but everyone's body produces milk differently with or without WLS. But I think there is a section on this forum about women who have been pregnant with WLS. You might find a better answer there.

  5. I couldn't drink lemonade until about 5 months out. It would always make me feel nauseas. Even crystal light lemonade.
  6. I have attempted eating cereal it just didn't settle well with me.. eating and drinking at the same time. My surgeon said it was okay to take some sips during eating at first but in the long run it should be avoided.

  8. Sleeping on my stomach wasn't my issue. It was getting up from bed after laying down.. Trying to use my abdominal muscles to get up was pretty painful for me. But actually laying on my abdomen felt great. I would say it took at least 10-14 days for my abdomen to not hurt when trying to get up.
  9. I'm not sure if there is any place I'm excited to shop at since a lot of places have plus size now. I will just be excited to not be required to shop at Lane Bryant(: I like the store it's just a bit pricey

  16. My first week wasn't too bad. I took liquid lortab and sip sip sip. Walking made me feel much better. I did have some heart burn but it wasn't too bad. I bought a ice pack and used it a lot for the discomfort. It sucked sleeping in a recliner for the first week or so though... I think that was the worst part for me.
  17. I bought a shirt that was way to small and would try it on at random times and it would fit better each time.
  18. I experimented with home made fruit smoothies at this stage and just added Protein powder... It was my favorite at that time.
  19. I drink permier shakes also, the best tasting ones to me. I also use genpro for a unflavored protein powder, I mix it into just about anything to add in extra protein.. I can hardly taste it!
  20. Big difference from sarcasm and suggestions. I didn't say she didn't know what she was talking about... I know I have to get my fluids and protein to not stall... Sheesh I'm only saying it's difficult for me.... Holy cow everyone... Everyone one is not the same! Some people have difficulties. People can ignore mine as well(: thanks!
  21. Yep I have a nasty attitude because I don't like people being rude for no reason. You got me!
  22. & why don't you "Try" not talking to me on this site (: Thanks! If you don't want people commenting, don't post on a public forum. You already know what your problems are, fix them. If you aren't drinking or eating enough protein, the simple solution is to drink protein shakes, then you kill two birds with one stone. I wasn't commenting for help. I was just letting the original poster know they were not alone... In their situation with stalling.. The original poster wanted comments as it was their post. I know what I'm doing wrong and never said it was right but nor should I be chastised by people that are not my doctor or that don't have a degree in this area... Yes it's a public forum... if I made the topic I obviously want comments but I didn't I was commenting... And I didn't say I don't want comments. I simply stated I didn't want that particular person talking to me? Why would I want a negative person talking to me? I have a right to say that... On a public forum... My post didn't say I never meet my goal I just stated its difficult for me personally to do so. You don't know my story or my struggles to be completely rude and make sarcastic comments. I'm not here for negativity like some of you who think this forum is for you to bully others because they don't get enough protein or water! We all know to do it. But not everyone is the same, everyone has different struggles and honestly if you can't make constructive comments then they shouldn't be made. It is a forum for the public but it not a "bully people forum" last time I checked.
  23. & why don't you "Try" not talking to me on this site (: Thanks!
  24. I have been stalling about every 3-4 weeks. I will lose weight for a week hen stop for 3-4... I don't drink all my fluids or get in enough protein though. Still working on it. It's hard finding things that I like with lots of protein in a small portion.
