As soon as I started eating more Protein and getting off the Protein Shakes I felt much better. I am
6 weeks out. I have however been drinking protein2o it's a protein Water drink with 15g protein. I did not tolerate protein shakes at all and was feeling nauseated and dizzy a lot. Sometimes if I haven't met my protein goal I will eat a snack like cottage cheese.< /p>

I couldn't sleep on my side for weeks. I slept mostly in my recliner for the first week. I actually went and bought recliner post op day 2 when I couldn't get up out of my couch, lol.

I am not on BP meds

The three week stall I think is normal. Even if you aren't losing on the scale I bet you are still losing inches. I am almost 4 weeks out and have been extremely dizzy as well. Possibly maybe related to low blood pressure or low blood sugar? I wish this phase would pass. You're not alone!

I made Protein cocoa using sugar free cocoa and unflavored Protein Powder. It was a nice change from the constant Protein Shake.

I had horrible pain as well. It was a tough first couple weeks. I was sleeved on 10/28. I have a friend who had no pain at all, so I was really surprised how bad it hurt and I am a RN. Everyone's experiences are totally different. I have a challenge getting all my fluids and Protein in still. Just keep going. They best advice I could give you is to walk. I know it hurts like hell to get up and get started but walking really helps with the recovery process. That's all I did at first is walk drink and take pain meds. Also when you get home you may prefer a recliner. I slept on my recliner for several days after surgery. Good luck!! You are not alone.

I had my surgery the 28th. I am still experiencing some pain, I guess I had adhesions from a previous surgery. No nausea for me since I have been home from the hospital. I am on puréed foods and struggling to meet Water and Protein goals. I just can't get it all in. Not really experiencing much hunger just food smells really good. It drives me crazy when my husband makes food for himself, everything smells wonderful. Glad everyone is doing well!

Yeah I had same issue. Just try and take it easy. I promise it gets better. Really work on meeting fluid goals. I even stayed up late trying to reach mine. You don't want to let yourself get to dehydrated. Your blood pressure could be low as well. When getting up do so slowly.
