Thank you. I take Calcium as part of my daily but it's low. I guess I should get more with a supplement

Only 1lb a week??? What exactly were your expectations? What will you do when you stall? I average 2lb a week but there are times when I don't lose at all. It's all about acceptance and understanding realities. I would embrace every loss but that's me

You were highly frustrated and somewhat at wits end originally. Correct?

I bet almost everyone felt this way. I did but since I vomited everyday for months my regret lasted longer. I wasn't myself for 4 months. Some days worse than others. But.....it does subside. Just try to take is slow and if you feel overwhelmed seek help.

Everyone is different. I'm 8 months out and I can't even consume an 80 calorie container of yogurt in one sitting. I do find if you are questioning yourself, you are probably doing that for a specific reason. Just ask your surgeon. He knows you the very best. On a side note I'm not about removing all food options from our diet. It's about being smart and mindful.

You are overthinking it. I did the same. All you need are Protein drinks, sugar free Popsicles and broth or Soups. That's minimal. I purchased all types of Protein powders which I haven't even used yet, Isopure which I hated. Maybe your fear is speaking?

Sean I never added Protein powder to the bone broth I made. That would have churned my stomach. Bone Broth is so much better than store bought consume. Please try that. Then get your Protein in with shakes. Here is a link for the broth http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/beef-bone-broth-51260700

Too soon. Call your nutritionist and refer to any documentation they gave you. I wasn't able to eat Peanut Butter until week 5

You're welcome. Seriously the sugar free Popsicles were the only thing I looked forward to. Soon you will be able to incorporate scrambled eggs and soft cheeses. By the way. Online purchases really helped me. 8 months out I'm still restricted at what I want to eat. Not much interests me so I still have to push the Protein consumption daily. It's our new normal. But cut yourself some slack.

High Protein low sugar and carbs. For the first few weeks I just had Premier Protein shakes that I purchased online from costco. I also purchased Isopure but hated it. I tried string cheese and scrambled eggs but that was 2 weeks out and I only had a couple of bites. I made bone broth and had fat free milk. You need to allow your body to heal. You can do damage if you go outside the liquid phase

Breathe. What's vital is to get your Protein and fluids in. I had to literally force myself to consume Protein shakes. I seriously had to convince myself. You will be fine

Stick to the Protein shakes sugar fee Popsicles sugar free Jello. Your body can't handle anything substantial. And......this will pass. I promise

I'm 8 months out and I can't even begin to count how many stalls I've encountered. You will start losing again

Stevia in the raw here too. I only use it in tea

I've never seen that. Good specs

Small tiny sips throughout the day sugar free popsicles were my best friends at that stage. In the beginning your body dictates and tells you when you've had enough. It's tidiest tiring and frustrating. But fluids need to be with you at all times. Sip out down sip put down Popsicle sip etc. it does get better but your sole focus is liquids. I also incorporated bone broth. Gl

Question about liquid diet an return to work

For Clear Liquids I would get won ton Soup and hot and sour soup. I removed the wonton wrappers and ate the Protein balls. Hot and sour was easy. The tofu is like air. Just chew chew chew I didn't try the mushrooms those are my favs but their are fibrous and it would be extremely difficult to get to a smooth consistency. I used a hand lender to break down the fibers and it was a welcomed treat
