I am on day 5 also. The first 2 morning I woke up with a headache. I drank a bottle of water and a protein shake and it got better.

I am not doing optifast, however I am on 2 week liquid pre-op diet. I am on my 5th day. I think days 1 and 2 are the worst. First 2 mornings I woke up with a headache. I grabbed a bottle of water and a protein drink and started feeling better. I am not hungry, but I do find my self wanting to eat out of habit. Stay strong. -

Mine did too. However I could take a cash advance through my bank the card is at without a fee or higher interest rate. So I took the cash advance and put it in my checking account. Then I wrote a check for my surgery.

Will they take a Visa or master card? I am self-pay in US and that is what I am doing.

Wow, sounds line your husband needs to stand up for you and tell his family to shut up or don't come around. Maybe you two need to pack up and move 1500 miles away from them. But, in no way am I a professional to give any advice. If you have the surgery it is something you are doing for you. If your husband will be supportive, that is all you need. I am on the 15th also. On my 3rd day of liquid diet. Today has been better. Not hungry, but I do want to eat solid food more out of habit, but at least I am not hungry. Have woke up with headaches past 2 mornings. I immediately grab a bottle of water and protein drink and that sees to help. -
Glad you are doing well. My surgery is 10/15. I also have goal of playing on floor with my grandchildren along with many other things. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
