How are all of you doing? I'm almost 6 weeks post op and doing great. Got back to the gym today and it felt great. I can't believe how much easier it is on my joints now that I'm down 37lbs. And the stretching! I can fold in half again I did have 1 little moment that I had to stop the treadmill ???? I accidentally took too big of a sip of Water and it almost came back up. Luckily it passed and I was able to hop back on and finish my workout. That would have been super embarrassing!

Hi everyone!! Sorry I haven't checked in before now. Sounds like you all are doing great. I had a great surgery, doc found a hiatal hernia and repaired it, pretty rough time after surgery but it was mostly due to gas pain and a nurse that was not very helpful. My catheter was bent wrong or something and I was in excruciating pain because I had to pee and it wouldn't let me. I had trouble getting help with that and didn't receive any pain meds until 4 hours after surgery. As soon as they fixed my catheter and gave me pain meds, it's been so much better!! I have had 2 c-sections and this is so much easier for me. I had to reduce my pain meds a couple days after surgery so I would slow down. I thought maybe I wasn't feeling enough and I would hurt myself by doing too much.

I actually feel amazing and have so much energy. I did not expect to feel this good so soon. I'm down 20lbs including 5 day pre-op diet and had to get a new pair of jeans yesterday! Woohoo!!

@@heartonmyvsleeve good luck to you! My surgery date is 12/2, and my emotions are all over the place. I've been trying to keep busy by obsessively organizing my house! At least it will be clean and organized when I get home Keep us posted on your progress!

I'm on the 25th as well. A little nervous but mostly ready to get on with my new life! Where are you getting sleeved?

Hello. Today I started my pre-op diet and I'm having my surgery NOVEMBER 25th! I am so excited and, of course, nervous. My insurance requires a 6 month waiting period and I thought this day would never get here. Everything was so slow until my final appointment November 11 and now it's all happening so fast.

Anyone else getting sleeved soon?
