I started with a dull ache under my right breast over night. I am 4 months post op RNY. Also having some pressure in my throat. It feels like something is stuck ( I took a pill last night and it happened after that ) also some pressure into my right back. I was wondering what it could be. It can't be gallbladder because I had that removed 4 years ago. It's not so bad that I can't function! Just a dull pressure/ache. Thanks....

Hello all,

I am 3 1/2 weeks post op RNY. I started the purée/ soft diet 10 days post op per my nut. Since then, I really haven't lost much weight. Maybe 2-3 pounds. I lost 23 pounds total during the 10 day pre op diet and the first 10 days after surgery on liquids. Is this normal that the weight loss slowed down? I am getting the Protein and Water in!!! Maybe my body is just adjusting??? Thanks!!!

I am about 2 1/2 weeks post op from RNY and I am noticing over the last few days I am extremely tired and fall asleep during the day. I am also so cold. Which is strange because I was always hot. Is this normal??? Thanks

Hello all, I had gastric bypass on 1-25-16. I am having so much gas pains in my back and lower abdomen!I've tried the gas X strips ( they don't seem to help ) I also get up and move around and use a heating pad. This feeling today makes it so hard to want to drink ( I am getting the liquids in though ) I just don't feel hungry and I feel so bloated. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Well tomorrow is the big day! I am so excited and a bit nervous too! I can't beleive it is almost here. I am proud of myself for making this journey!???? I am so ready for this!!!! Can't wait!!!!

Thank you all for the tips, I can have Protein Shakes and sugar free Clear Liquids, broth etc. I did get the premier shakes and liked them. My house will be squeaky clean after this week!!!???? thanks again for the kind words and advice!
