There's a reason for these clearances. To make sure you're ready physically and psychologically for the surgery.
Try to get your OCD and anxiety disorder under control, whether with medication or therapy and ask to be evaluated again to prove to them that you can handle the difficult psychological aspects that come with the surgery. Look at it as a great opportunity to take control of your emotional health as well as your physical health.
Prove to them you can do this!

I went with the family to Sea World, Orlando. I took my granddaughter to the Manta, the huge and terrifying coaster. They have a seat outside to test whether you are too hulking to get on the ride. Grampa jumps in, pulls the restrainer down,... click...with room to spare! Last year at this time I wouldn't have even tested it.
So we waited the 45 minutes in line, got on the ride, and away we went. Coming down the first hill and twist nearly brought up the miniscule contents of the Bouncer,(my sleeve). But I relaxed and talked back to the intimidating boneshaker: "Is that all you got?" "Give me some more!" to impress my granddaughter. To top it off, I tried to talk her into getting right back on, a perk for our platinum annual pass. She was quite content with what she had already experienced. Macho, skinny grampa rides again!

I had to keep up with John, plus the walk there was mostly downhill. The walk back took about 35 minutes because it was uphill, and we were walking against the winds.

100 pounds in 8 months......great job! I know you have to feel healthier just by the fact that you are off some medications. And having people compliment you on your success is such a great motivator! Congratulation!!!!!
