  1. I use to drink almost a gallon of water a day but now it's hard for me to down it and especially quickly, if I do it gets stuck in my chest wall or something lol. But seriously this is annoying and does it ever get easier to drink continuously. I'm four months out by the way and wine seems to go down smoother.
  2. I eat five small meals a day which usually keeps me content but during my cycle I tend to get hungry more often, try drinking a extra protein shake
  3. I'm wondering if you are following your surgeons guidelines eating and drinking appropriately. Sounds like you rushed into surgery without careful thought and knowledge. What does your surgeon say?
  4. I've tried the bariatric vitamins which make me sick to my stomach. I've read reviews on several different brands and kinds of vitamins. Someone recommended "catalyn," vitamins along with the norm. If you've tried please let me know how it worked. Just want to get a idea of the brands and type of vitamins you all begun your journey with. I'm four months out and vitamin d and iron are what I NEED.
  5. This made me feel better and great tip! Thx
  6. I lost a few coworker friends which weren't really friends. I knew one of them would be jealous and upset, the moment she found out it was spread all over my job and we became enemies. Doesn't that say a lot? Some people can't even control their anger and jealousy which is what her issue really is because now you're dropping weight and because of it you look and feel much better which in turn creates self confidence. Fuck her! She will always have an underlining issue with something once she gets over the fact that you've done the surgery and it's nothing but stepping stones from this point on.
  7. I'm glad you mentioned the whole body dysmorphia thing because I to have been going through that. I use to buy 2xl shirts and pants because I prefer my clothes baggy and purchased a xl the other day that kept falling off of me. The only way I can tell that I've lost weight is by how my clothes fit. You look great!! Best of luck to you and your journey.
  8. I usually only cheat during pms week but last month it was almond thin cookies and while sugar free it's still high in fat. This month it's lays plain potato chips. Caught myself eating some yesterday and decided to toss the entire bag in the trash can.
  9. Do not let others control your thinking. You know what's right for you. I'm 37 and was 259 standing 5'3" and would hear the same thing. Weight just doesn't come off as easy or at all once you hit your 30's. My only regret is not having done my surgery sooner like the two years I spent listening to every one else's opinions.
  10. I know this seems minimal but yesterday while in the nail shop with my friend she made a joke "bitch lost ten pounds and think she cute because she can cross her legs." This is how we talk to and joke with each other to mask the fat girl pains we've endured together. But prior to her comment I hadn't even noticed that I was crossing my legs a lot. I couldn't cross them before and although I'm technically only 44 pounds down since beginning my journey September 1, 2015 this made me feel so good especially since I've been stalling the past month.
  11. I can't WAIT to be in onederland
  12. I was sleeved 9/1 please add me or I'm not sure how this all works. cal2okl@gmail.com
  13. After reading this long explanation I'm still confused and was hoping you said because you wanted to get control of your weight before it continued to progress.
  14. Pretty sure I'm hitting the mark on 65g of protein per day but can always use advice. Just recently started exercising and try to eat every three hours. I'm always sleep deprived. I think it's my vitamin levels...
  15. Mine went away by week 8
  16. They do cause bad breath and I'm glad not to be the only person feeling this way
  17. i was not approved for vitamins until six weeks out and the bariatric vitamins caused me to throw up so I had to order some so technically six seven weeks out
  18. I started talking my vitamins about a week ago which includes iron, vitamin d and b-12 shots. This entire journey I've felt tired and worn out and now that I have returned to work by 5 all I want to do is crawl in bed and sleep. Anyone else dealing with this and are there any other suggestions?
  19. This just gave me hope thank you so much
  20. Hey thank you so much for the advice and suggestions I will definitely use them and search for those items at the grocery store tomorrow.
  21. I'm pmsing which is something I've always had a issue with. I get really hungry for the worse kind of things and today was no exception. I ate about 8 miniature snickers and a small bag of lays potato chips. I'm feeling extra guilty but also hate the urges and cravings that come with my period. I've been trying so hard but sometimes I can't stay in control as much as I'd like or need to. Does anyone have any tips to help with pmsing and all the cravings and wrecklessness?!
