I was sleeved on the 24th of October. And my surgeon Mashallah is Muslim. He says Ramadan will be easier. Let's see.
Lost quite a bit of weight already.

All the best on your surgeries. It will be a breeze. I understand the nerves and worries - but the surgery is over in no time and you be on your way to recovery and slimmer you.
I am 5weeks post surgery and 14kg down.
Good luck y'all

It's almost two weeks post op. Feeling great. Sick of the Protein shakes. I just mix Greek yoghurt with some unsweetened almond milk.
I had no drains - maybe it's done differently in the UK. Also pre- surgery was a liver shrinking diet that required me to follow a meal plan. Not liquid diets like I read here.
Lost 6kg. Seldom hungry. Trying to keep up with the Protein sans nasty shakes. Made black eye bean Soup yesterday.

Is it worth it?

I think rather than focus on absolute weight, u can consider a healthy metric like % body fat reduction, improving muscle mass - which also helps in metabolism.
I think you look great though!

Have issues with my BP too. It will likely get better after the surgery. I am almost 3 months post surgery. I feel amazing. Currently 104kg from 126kg pre surgery.
It is the best decision I ever made. For my health, family and may be vanity.
I played football with my 4yo he had to tell me "mum it's okay - lets go in"! I wouldn't even dare before then.
I feel like I can conquer the world. Don't find exercising as exerting as before and hoping to get better.
Let me raise a glass and toast to a new you. Cus that's what the surgery will do! I guess the only downside for me is I can't drink as much alcohol. I feel tipsy really fast. So..... But that too is a small price to pay.
Good luck.
