    Sleep Apnea?

I understand the feeling. I've had times while driving that I have literally had to slap myself in the face HARD to stay awake. Your pressures might not be high enough, but I'm sure you've discussed that with your doc already. Hang in there, I'm rooting for you!

    Sleep Apnea?

Haha! I don't mean to laugh, I'm certainly glad you haven't passed away!! Just happy to hear the snoring is gone. I am SUCH a loud snorer I've ruined a few weekend getaways with friends before I realized what the problem was. I look forward to not having to buy a separate hotel room just so others can sleep!!

    Sleep Apnea?

@@Djmohr @@Cheri_j thank you for your input!! The one (stupid, but it makes sense to me) reason why I have not gotten tested is because I don't want to have to use a CPAP/BIPAP machine and become dependent on it, so I'm hoping this helps. The surgeon might say "too bad you need to get one" but I'm hoping that's not the case. I've dealt with it for years now, at this point what's a couple more months?
  6. My final straw was my sweet, loving father cautiously asking me if I would consider looking in to the surgery. His concern and willingness to do whatever it takes to help me was a huge push for me to try and get this done. Have yet to meet the surgeon, but fingers crossed!

    Morninga? Possible WLS supplement?

Haha! Awesome thanks for the input! I bet the powder is the best way to get the most out of it as opposed to a power bar or similar. To me, anything that makes the absorption of nutrients after WLS work better is something worth checking out!
  10. Hi everyone! I saw this article on the NPR website: powders and other various food stuffs made with it or out of it. Has anyone here that has had WLS used this in addition to their normal Vitamin regiment? I have yet to have surgery, but this sounds like it could have the potential to help WLS patients who have trouble getting their needed nutrition in. Thanks in advance! (Disclaimer: this is my first post ever! Woo! Apologies if it's all goofed up.)
  11. This screams of victim blaming, whether that was your intention or not. She clearly was assaulted and honestly, nothing they say can make up for the way she was treated and the abuse she's suffered. The is NO EXCUSE for sexual assault, and she had every right to post this far and wide without waiting for a cover up story response from their office/legal team. To the OP - I am so so sorry this happened to you, no one deserves to be violated like that. I know that you are upset about your STD diagnosis (who wouldn't be?), but I know there are a lot of medicines out there that can make life easier and prevent outbreaks. I hope your husband is supportive of you. I hope you have a successful recovery both physically and mentally.
