    Noticeable change in appearance

it took about 7 months before I had to confront myself and reassure myself that I fit perfectly in a size 8, and it was more than time for those size 16s to go

    Will I lose weight

You could drink liquified twinkles and still lose. But just..don't.. slow and healthy wins the war here

    Noticeable change in appearance

I didn't really start noticing until I was literally forced to buy pants that fit because my old pair and belt were way too big

unfortunately, we do not have long term data to support your claim. We do have a better idea in gastric bypass patients, and the finding are not in our favor....

What's the scoop on chewing gum?

    Don't swallow it silly!
  7. Your tummy has turned into a bit of a weenie. Not eating will only make said tummy more weenie.
  8. Oh I hear ya, that first month is brutal and the food aggressions comes out full force. My boyfriend brought back attack tacos instead of the chk tacos I was allowed to eat....guess what happened to his tacos, smeared I did all over his chair in a glorious fit of rage

Star Jones weight gain (80 lbs)

. Ah c'mon, they can fat shame me for being Poor and fat! Without the Celebes, I really don't know anyone can have fun with. Speaking of which, I hope Leo's DaD bod, is just a part in a movie

Them rush skinny biiatches need to get themselves sleeved! Or re sleeved! I am sure they will have it figured out on the next one
  12. I do not endorse or make any money off of this at all...but...you really should get a squatting potty...oh and bla bla miralx and yogurts and lots of that other crap too
  13. All this talk about fat shaming recently, those who have had surgery and took steps to slim down-did fat shaming play a part in your decision? Should there be more acceptance in fat shaming? Honestly in my situation, I thought it played a part- but didn't want to give credit to the bullies in my life. I found https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dR7LEQYP4rA and it really changed my whole mindset about it, just wonder why someone like that hasn't gotten WLS yet.
  14. yeah, her video was rude, and just looking at her you can tell she has never had a weight problem. I felt guilty for agreeing with some of it, and I know a lot of people think similarly- but never saying it out loud. Watching the response video though- it's true- we all just need to be a lot kinder to each other
  15. Oh how true! I was always told as a kid that I was a fat ugly whale, it's still hard to get that voice out of my head. All it accomplished was it made me hate myself, skinny or not.

    Craving

For me, a coke was never the same again after surgery. Sure it tastes the same, but I couldn't enjoy it because the carbonation was too distracting, and it would go flat by the time I could get halfway into it. Carbonation can potentially stretch the stomach as well. I replaced my poison with iced espresso, it wasn't the the taste of soda pop I was actually addicted to- but the caffeine!
  17. Dreamed of going to my favorite Mexican restaurant and getting taquetos, enchilada, chile relleno with beans and rice topped with sour cream. Just me ordering and eating food. Woke up starving and disappointed that I couldn't actually eat it. What takes the edge off for me is to watch some good food porn. Man vs food, diners/drive ins...etc.. I get to live through other people pile food in. It's therapy in a why, like escaping in a fantasy world.
  18. Hey everyone, hoping someone might have experienced this... A couple days ago I had this severe pain in my belly button region, doubled over, worst and unusual pain I have ever had. Go to the ER (it's 2 am when this happened) I am thinking a gallbladder attack- after all I am a few mo post op and I heard this can happen. They thought it was a kidney stone, they did a CT scan and didn't find anything other than a uti. They gave me some pain pills and antibiotics and sent me home. Since then, I have felt a little weird, almost like my intestines are numb or stopped working. I listen to some bowel sounds and hear them, though slightly diminished on the upper left quadrant. Then what really baffles me, I took the ultimate dose of milk of mag and stimulant pills...and nothing... It's like it's stopped. I don't want to go to ER, nor do I want some poor nurse that has to stick her fingers up there (tmi- I did and there's nothing). Anyone have any ideas?

    Bingeing after the sleeve

I think everyone has a bad day, a bad meal once in a while. Not sure I could call a couple donuts a binge, but without the sleeve, it could of been 10. I have found that if I must have that tasty trigger food, eating some apple helps me from caving in completely. Just a bite. On a side note, someone should seriously create a humor thread of 'sleeve binges'- that crazy time I had a banana and chips and 2 sips of water--
  20. I could hang a hanger on my clavicle. Win.

  21. @@Elode, twitching comes after passing out suddenly form a total state of getting up,,,and all that back down again. ..memory subside, but only a min. Don't try and fight it
  22. I have it intermittently, I go from lying down to twitching on the floor. My doc is nt concerned about it. I did some research on it, and the science behind it is quite patchy. It tends to happen in women much much more...
  23. Thank you all for the kind words and advice, I think I let the whole thing get too far by not drinking enough water and not listening more to what my body needed. I am ok now, had to double my lax dose, but glad it's not a blockage. Guess I can look forward to gallbladder problems later on.
  24. No not on ursadol, to the second question- yes but with forced difficulty. I I don't have any pain anymore..I don't really feel anything at all below the waist and I have been drinking water like a maniac. If I show up again, I don't think they will find anything, they didn't even note my tiny stomach on the ct scan....
