You poor thing. I have neck issues (fusion surgery in 2011) and my neck was killing me for a few days after surgery. I think it's from being in weird positions during surgery and the cruddy hospital bed. Have you tried s heating pad?? Best wishes to you!

It's hard!!!! Do your clear liquids include sugar free Popsicles and jello? Those might be a savior for you. Good luck! It gets easier! This is the hard part! Keep your eyes on the prize!

I would make sure you do it near a piece of furniture that you can use to assist you in getting back up. A footstool, chair, etc.

No, just sore like everyone else said - for a a couple of days. My incisions didn't hurt when I was sitting, but when I got up, it was somewhat painful. Gravity and all ????

I'm doing well, too. I was upgraded to regular diet, so that's nice. Concentrating on protein and fluids still, of course. Down about 20 pounds!

So many positives. I'm not quite a month out, but seeing the changes already is amazing! Getting healthier every day. One con (temporary, though) is it is a gobzillion appointments going through the process and I have appointment anxiety! I only get 10 sick days a year and it's been stressful!!! But totally manageable. Best of luck to you!!

I didn't have one. They had you go right before surgery. It was fabulous!!

Oh, I'm so glad you had some good options!!! Praying that everything works out for you! Mine was found after an ablation - we do have one kiddo and my symptoms were just too miserable. They found the cancer and I ended up with a hysterectomy in July, which was when my WLS should have been. It's all good now and surgery was the only treatment needed. Back on track and now about 4 weeks out from sleeve surgery. I'll be thinking if you and praying for an awesome outcome all around!

I want to get a bracelet or necklace with this quote. I've been looking for just the right one on Etsy. I might get it when I hit my half-way to goal milestone. I did!!! I bought one for my friend and I who are both on this journey. A word of warning, though... I ordered really cute aluminum cuff bracelets and I've lost 2 of them!!! (Reordered it after the first loss). I think the aluminum was too soft and came off when I was removing my coat. ???? I now have one coming that's more Alex and Ani style. Hopefully, I can keep that one for a while!!
