Hi there! Nice people on here. As for supporting your wife, just know it can be a little tough at first. I was super sore and weak for about three weeks following my surgery. I am an insulin dependant diabetic but I healed pretty quick. Hope your wife heals rapidly as well and welcome!

My hubby was my strongest supporter through my own weight loss journey. He was just great -- never "instructed," but always "supported."
Told me I looked great all the time. Told me how proud he was of me. That was worth so much to me!

A supportive mate is a gift from God. Come here any time. Some of us are up at night, thinkin' when we ought to be sleepin'. Please give your wife a hug from a Scottish lassie in Chicago. (Descended from that murderin' horse thief Sir Godfrey McCulloch - I have spent a lifetime trying to undo his bad Karma on the family).
You will find a lot of support here on the forum.

How fantastic of you to be so supportive of your wife. It will make for a much easier transition to a healthy lifestyle.
I had RNY but can certainly answer questions as well. There are many many supportive people on this site.
Good luck and feel free to reach out.
