  7. I had a two week pre-op high protein diet with protein shakes and then I was banded on Monday July 28. I feel great. Except I'm sick of clear liqiuds....tommorrow I get to start a full liquid diet for a week. Total lost so far with the pre-op diet & one week of clear liquids.....21 pounds!!! I do not ever want to see those numbers again...the doc did mention most people gain some back when they start foods....NO!!!! It can't be true. I have my first doc appt. on Monday Aug 11. So glad I found this site..my family isn't as supportive as I'd wished.
  8. I am one week post-op and still having problems taking meds....most I crush in water but I take cymbalta and there is no other form says the pharmacist than the time release capsules.I empty the little beads on a spoon then put them on the back of my tongue and wash them down. I dread doing this every night and I keep wondering if this is even safe for me to take them that way. The pharmacist hemmed & hahed about how if I should be doing this that way but the doc said so....!!! Anyone else have probs with taking cymbalta? Help?
