TOMORROW IS THE DAY. I've been waiting for this day for months. Now it's the beginning of my journey. I'm so nervous but excited for this new adventure. Time to be pouched!

My surgery is Wednesday the 23rd! ????

Help! This two week all liquid diet is killing me! How do I make sure I don't cheat and make these hunger pains and cravings go away! I've been on it for 5 days and have lost 7 pounds, but it's getting hard.

Hi! I start my liquid diet September 9th, it's two weeks and my surgery is September 23. Also, I have to drink soothing to cleanse my bowels the day before surgery, how does it taste? And last, what should I know about pain, hospital stay, and what to bring! I'm 18 and really excited but nervous.

So I finished day one of my required two week preop all liquid diet before my surgery the 23, and I already feel miserable. What do I do?

@@Knitchic Today was pretty awful, being the first day of preop all liquids. Hopefully it gets pretty! Let me know how yours is going!

Hi! I'm 18 years old and receiving the RNY on September 23, I start my two week liquid diet on Wednesday this week. I'm also looking for people my age to communicate with!

So my family is the family that makes every single holiday about food. Since I've mad this lifestyle change on this surgical journey, I've tried to make food just be food, but that's not like most of my family. By Thanksgiving, I will only be about 2 months out, still on puréed food. Due to this, I told them that I don't want to go to the eating portion of thanksgiving, just to come later. They are not happy, and probably won't let me. What do I do?

Hi everyone! So last week we submitted it to Aetna insurance for final approval before I get my surgery date. How long does it usually take for approval? And I'm so nervous they won't approve me! Help!

OMG! I'm so so so expected and happy. Doctors office just called and told me the insurance approved me. My date is September 23. Wow!! Thank you all so much for putting up with me and my posts!
