Florida here. At 66 Medicare approved my surgery, with three co morbidities, asthma, HBP, and diabetes. I weighed 210. The staff of our Bariatric surgeon took care of everything dealing with Medicare. We paid $500 out of pocket. We just had the sleeve, Doctor and staff did the rest. Find a Seminar and get started! I am 70 and I beg you to try to relax and go with this. Try not to be negative. It has been life changing and pure joy for me and my husband, reversing serious health problems, which I know will add years to our lives. Well spoken. Move forward. Our husbands recover from not agreeing with us. Get a lawyer to write a letter with your medical authorization attached, requesting to pick up the entire medical record within 15 days. Don't waste time.

Look for yogurts with about 8 grams of sugar. Broth is wonderful. Spoonfuls of refried beans with tiny drops of taco sauce and FF sour cream filled a craving. The semi puréed homemade chili was a staple especially on Thanksgiving day. Each tiny bite of food was so good and satisfying. Cottage cheese, puréed. Homemade vegetable soup with no carbs. Puréed chicken with vegetables and FF broth. I still enjoy simple things. Best of luck.

The doctor will not like being confronted and won't give you atraight answers. Hopefully the medical records are undoctored. If your surgeon thinks for one second you might sue him he will never see you again and will be forewarned of your intentions. I would go quietly into this til you have what you need.

We learned our surgeon would not see us for anything he thought wasn't in the area of the incision. I think the tape has irritated your skin. Not an emergency for your surgeon obviously. See your primary for the thrush. It is terribly painful and there is an oral solution to help with that pain. Good luck. Make sure your primary is available for any problems. Go to the hospital and stand there until they make copies of every medical record, no matter the cost. Catch them off guard. Otherwise they can pick and choose what to give you. It will cost but this is your life. Digest it and move accordingly. Don't go to any small time lawyer. Best wishes.

I was terrified for my husband, but I was more terrified that I had to call Rescue so often because he was unconscious from. Blood sugar of 40. Over 15 years of WL seminars, the sleeve has changed our lives. We now have a life. Best wishes!

I was 67 when sleeved 3 years ago. One thing is for sure, I had no pain, was in the grocery store the day after surgery, spent less than a day in the hospital. I walked a mall four days later. never took a pain pill once I left the hospital. Any surgery is scary but I hope you have it easy like we did.

Biotin is WORTHLESS. Two years I paid money for this nonsense.

I use Source of Life liquid vitamin for three years recommended by my fabulous educator, a compound pharmacist. It is on Amazon, not the average store. Our pharmacist has a great health food store. Tastes good and a bottle lasts forever.

Your health is SIGNIFICANT.

Omeprazole or ther meds are usually prescribed.

I will not deal with that card since it is no ones business. I would have a shake first, at home.

If you are that sick remember there are no doctors here. Go to the ER. If you are not that sick, then see your surgeon. You should not feel like this. My husband and I had nothing but complete joy after surgery. Wishing you the best.

One year after surgery I got sick like that for 10 hours on some terrible medicines for gout. I went to the ER and was admitted overnight. I was so sick I could not hold my head up. DEhydration. When in doubt get to the ER.

Consider that it may be depression. Of course he MUST eat. I would get him back to the surgeon for a serious discussion!
