I had several changes I am 6 weeks post op, first I get this yellow stain on my tongue the doc said it will go away. I have become more sensitive to sweets and salty foods. I don't really use either of them now. Oh and I cannot tolerate spice food anymore. Will see if they change in the future.

Hi I had revision from band to sleeve on 7/26 and my own experience my recovery has been much slower than when I got the band. I stayed in the hospital 2 days and I planned to take 1 week off work and actually had to take 2. The area were my port was hurt for a couple of days. My body is taking a little longer to recover. But I'm thinking since I had troubles with my band and was not able to eat for about 3 weeks before surgery my body was already weak. Everyone is different. Good Luck and hope u have a speedy recovery.

Today is my 9th day out and I feel great. My surgery went well. Everything was so fast. Today I started to get my energy back I'm not drinking pain meds my incisions are almost completely closed except for the one the had the drain it still hurts a little. But other than that I feel I made a good choice for my self to get the surgery done in Mexico. You can email me if u have more questions or concerns. Do your research and be informed before you go. maldonado46435@yahoo.com

I had surgery in Tijuana Mexico last week once u contact ur agents everything is planned and scheduled you will never be alone plus u will make new friends that come from all over. I never told anyone I was going to get surgery for the same reason I didn't want negative feed back. Don't worry it's safe. Good luck

Hi I am on the same boat as you but finally made my decision and will be having my band taken out and doing the sleeve. Tired of being stuck. And scared to gain all the weight I've lost so that's why I made this decision. Going to get Sleeved on 7/26/16. Super exited and happy. Good luck on making a decision[emoji4]

Good job on the weight loss. I will be having the revision on 7/26/16 because my band slipped but did loose 88lbs in 1 year. I will post my new journey with my sleeve. And I do agree lost weight is lost weight. Stay on track and you will get to your goal. Focus good luck.

Yes I had difficulty on my first one and had the fill standing up. The nurse had to use a longer needle. Good luck

Yes agree with the comments above sometimes you loose inches and not lbs.

I had this yellowish stuff on my tongue for about 2 months after surgery. It didn't matter how many times I brushed it I would still get it and finally one day it just went away. It did make my taste buds change tho I cannot drink diet drinks or sugar it makes me sick. The doctor said it was the ketosis.
