If you've done your research and you know all the things you will have to do to be successful post-op, there is no reason to question yourself now. Thanks you are right .. Everyone is different.   5. Thank you so much. I'm praying for the same exact things although I know it's going to get hard I.e not being able too eat and getting protein and adequate water in take but those are welcomed.. I pray I make it though the actual surgery. And be complication free.

  8. I totally agree I was doing my pre op and I was less nervous with the group now that I am home I'm everywhere.. I'm praying to, I've been praying hard .. I will keep praying til I'm sleep and when I wake up I will thank God then my surgeon ????????????????

  11. Yes I eat protein first and drink lots of water. It's hard not to gulp though lol they told me no protein shakes. I wonder why. Do you drink that

  15. Yes I am, I can have regular things just way smaller portions and I chose to stop eating carb breads pasta etc. no snacks and 64oz of water I follow the pre op meal plan they provide in the binder.
  16. Hello , I've been actively commenting on a few forums and just wanted to get my fears out there. Surgery isn't that far. And as time passes in getting more and more anxious.. I know my surgeon is great. But I'm still nervous my first time having surgery . The sick part doesn't bother me I've been sick before 2 where I couldn't eat. And couldn't keep anything down. That part is expected. It's the what if that scare me .. I pray I will be complication free.. Any surgery twins ???? Sorry so long ????????????????????

  21. I'm afraid of leaks and hair loss I would much rather prefer the hair loss lol. And also weight re gain. And operation complications ... I want to survive for my children and husband... I hate fear it controls you. I was fine til I got my surgery time lol it's 8:15 Wednesday...
