I want some refried beans or chili but I'm on stage 2 so that's out I didn't want nothing to drastic lol. But wanted to taste regular tasting food that's filling that's all ugh I'm whining now lol

Lachlove .. Wow I have had a hard couple of days myself and this hit home. I think I actually am hungry. I went through the whole "head hunger" thing in the beginning but now I just feel like we weren't made to be without food entirely and if I never see another Protein shake again it will be too soon. You. Are. Not. Alone.. Thank you .. It's so hard the Soup made my stomach so uncomfy just now I'm just having a Popsicle and feeling so down. I agree we aren't meant to go without. It's unnatural ... But I only have a few days well 8 ugh. But I just keep reminding myself I have too do it

. Yea it should go pretty fast after that. It was orientation meet with surgeon psych eval case manager Liz lol and she gives you your date my psych eval was the longest wait because he is part time so he was booked ..

I'm a stay at home mom. It's been relatively easy but everyone is different I still take care of everything.

The psych guy wasn't at ours but he was really cool one on one. We were laughing. But be careful don't let him get you comfortable .. Remember you are at a eval the questionnaire is long but repetitive ..you should pass I got my surgery dat 3 days later.

That way my surgeon as well. He was great. Very supportive answers any and all questions .. Great surgeon.

. Right they always recommend you go to the class buts not an requirement. Which makes its faster

. Yes I do, I touch them and am amazed at how far medical technology has advanced. No pain though or drainage

I've been great .. I walk a lot. And try to get in my fluids. I'm on full liquids for 8 more days. Lol until my 2 week post op appointment . My incisions are healing okay. Minimal pain. At first there was pain when I would move. But now they are way better. Hunger lol that's another's sometimes I'm okay sometimes I'm not. Head hunger not physical hunger. I hope this helps

. No problem .. I've had those days in fact I'm walking now too gain clarity .. God is so awesome .. I know he is going to work things out in all our favor.

. Oh okay , I'm not really sure about their policies .. But mine went pretty fast. I got my referral on June 3 had orientation June 11- was sleeved on August 12 because I had to wait a month for my pysh eval because he only work 3 days a week there so it might have been sooner that's not bad at all compared to what I thought it was going to take. I've read a few different posts that said Kaiser requires a 12 week nutritional class and you have to lose 10% of your current weight before you can have the surgery. Congrats on your journey! yea every kaiser is different our classes weren't mandatory just strongly encouraged. You do have too lose weight pre op. But long as your losing and not gaining you should be fine .. Just follow the diet they give you .. Thank you btw.
